Sexism is discrimination against someone because of gender. It doesn't specify which gender.

The Chinese Immigration Act and Holocaust both have a body count. "heterophobia" doesn't. the chinese are also currently under an oppressive government. heterosexuals ARE the oppressors here.
You saying "death to queer folks" has a body count to it, it has proof of its existence. But a straight man has never been murdered because he is straight. and i would absolutely overlook a queer person saying "death to straight men" for that reason.

I think you misunderstood their comment.
They didn't mention body count. They mentioned how both were discriminating. Their morals match the morals now. And the Immigration act was an act by the Canadian government. It was done a long time ago. If anything, Canada's government now is less than oppressive. They are the opposite. Please do research on it if you're going to mention it.
If anything, homosexuals KNOW what it's like to be hated on. So why drag down another sexuality to get your way and to get a point across? Like they mentioned, you are combining both the people who disrespect you and the people who want to support you, and calling everyone "oppressors". If someone cishet wanted to support you, or if someone wanted to come out of the closet and join the community, and they took one look at how LGBTQ are acting right now I do not blame them for being terrified. Keep in mind that YOU people are idols to those who want to come out but they can't. Make an example instead of shaming another sexuality, because LGBTQ is about ACCEPTANCE, not negativity.
Oh, by the way? Bisexuals are apart of LGBTQ. And they are getting disrespected and shamed so hard you might as well remove the B. Not only are they gay, but they are straight. That is the whole point of their sexuality.

LGBTQ members certainly don't deserve to be murdered. They don't deserve to be hated on. They don't deserve anything negative. But what gives you a right to do it to someone else who isn't like you?
