Description Waiting. I hated waiting. The time moves on, the world goes by, and I'm waiting. I don't like taking the bus, it's creepy and big and I just want to get to where I'm going without twenty different detours. I couldn't wait til I got my own car. But for now, I had to. Wait for my own car, wait to be eighteen and free, wait for this damn bus while the heat tried killing me (it really was. The hot air was trying to suffocate me, bright sunlight was trying to blind me, and UV rays were burning my skin, trying to give me cancer).

And now I have to wait on you, which  is worse than waiting for my car, for my freedom for the bus either to come or the heat to kill me as I wait for its arrival.

Wait for you to fix things. Wait for you to apologize, wait for you to clean up your life or destroy yourself. (And I really don't want you to destroy yourself). What makes the waiting worse is there isn't a damn thing I can do about it.

I can't get a car until I learn how to drive.
I have to wait until I'm eighteen for freedom, two more years unless someone builds a time machine for me.
This bus will get here on it's own time, whether I want it to come sooner or not.
You... it's up to you now. I can't help you. I'm powerless. A shaking leaf trying to cling onto it's twig as the wind howls and eventually snaps me off and carries me away. Trying to help you turns me into that leaf, it's useless.

I remember I got a rose from a boy once. It was my first rose ever given to me by someone other than my family. And it was perfect, no thorns, blood red, and in full bloom. It was wonderful and first, but it was torture watching it die and wilt and fade.

And there was nothing I could do. No matter how much I wanted that rose to thrive, it would still die.

Right now, you're my rose. No matter how many tears I shed, I just have to wait on you to either destroy yourself and fade like that rose did. Or to save yourself.

Until that day, I just have to wait.

Wait for my car, wait for my freedom, wait for the bus to come and save me from the heat.

And wait for you.

(I love you, please don't be like the rose)
