Description
Kion avoided his brother for the next days. He did not show himself to their guest, the night pride. It was an old family of lions who mostly lived the night and who had a great medical knowledge. They never were really powerfull as they were not many at all. Actually they were only their leader, queen Rani, his brother, their uncle, his mate and their baby daugther.

"Nothing wroth my presence" he thougth.

As he ruminated next to the lake, he didn't hear a brown lioness approach. He only realised he was not alone when he eared her giggle. He immediatly thought himself was stupid, realising she must had ear his soliloquy.

"Well well prince Kion, that must be the reason you judged good not to welcomed my pride. I'm realeved you simply is a grumpy one and not an hostile xenophobic." she said while approaching the water.

"I... eh... I'm sorry, I had a p-personal quarrel with my brother! And I... didn't want you... to thing I was angry because of you. W-Well no! That's not what I meaned! I... Shit.. Oh sorry... " he tried to explain.

Rani didn't look at him while he tried to be understandable, she simply drank some water, and re-arrange her fur. Kion look at her more precisly and he thougth that she looked like Timara, but with a softer face. He suddenly clearing his throat.

"I'm sorry. "

"Don't be. I'm aware of your brother-to-brother problem."

"You are? How?"

She giggled one more time and smiled, not archly, but with sincerity.

"Don't you remember? I'm Timara's cousin. She tells me everything, she always did. So I know what happened between your three since I'm a cub."

Kion called himself an idiot for not remebered that Timara's mother was the younger daugther of old queen Janna who died not long ago. He really never cared about the alliance of the prides or the kingdoms anyway... He realised that it could have been helpfull in some situations.

"I'm really sorry."

"It's nothing Kion. You always were in you world, that what's make you... you." she finished with a smile.

Kion sat, and looked down. He was lucky it was Rani and no one else, his attitude could have been taken as an insult.

"I wish I could be more like my siblings sometimes..."

"You mean more responsable?"

"Yeah..."

"Remember when we were cubs?"

He looked at her with anxiety. He forgate that too?!

"...I ...should? "

"We played at you lion guard games sometimes. It was after we lost my parents. I didn't wanted to have fun at all. My life had just began and I was becaming adulte even before I lost my deciduous teeth. One day our pride visited my aunt, you asked if I wanted to help you to heal a scar you had on an eye. I didn't understood what your were talking about... like... a cobra poisoned you by bitting for you to become evil... or something like that..."

She said with an alf amused grin. Kion scratched his head, embarrassed at hell. He had A LOT of improbable scenari for his lion guard game...

"Yeah... that..."

" I said yes, not aware it was a game at first. And I said yes, by dutty mostly. It was strange, but... But, that was fun. I had fun for the first time after my parents death. And that was thanks to you Kion."

She just spoke very seriously, not like she had been for the sentences before. Kion didn't know what to say. It was the first time someone told him that his game were a good thing.

"I... I'm glad if I helped you Rani. I mean, queen Rani."

She smiled at him again, an walk just in front of him.

"What I want you to understand is, dreaming can be a good thing Kion. Like you learned it to me. Just... live you dream, and don't dreame your life."

"That's a good advise. Thank you."

Rani nodded, she seemed happy to have talked with him. Kion for his part couldn't deny that she had a point. He was like that, he loved to play, to dream, to imagine stories... but maybe he should grown and use it for the best... Instead of using your qualities to maintain a status-quo in his real life. Rani start to leave, but suddenly turned her head the prince.

"For what is worth... I always kinda liked dreamers. "
