me of
what I am and
what I was and
which is worse.
I told you from the
beginning how this
would go, but no
one listens until
it's too late.
I'd spare you this,
but you still don't quite
believe.
I didn't want to be
the one to put that
tone in your voice,
or look in your eyes.
But the set of your
shoulders, and tensions
between us, tells me
you still don't realize,
how bad this is
going to get.
