Description I did this drawing on the Day of Silence and the drawing is of me.

The face is done in black and white charcoal, the background painting is acrylics, and the stars are tin foil. The duct tape over the mouth is just duct tape over the mouth lol. All done on top of a piece of scrap cardboard i found lying around.

This is obviously a political statement. Its protesting the oppression of the LGBTQXYZ community. Its a piece that says look, theres more of us than you think, and we have the right to say something. America isn't equality for all as long as you're straight. Its equality. For All.

thats kind of what i saw too. its really cool. it would make a great poster or something to put up around schools and stuff for the day of silence

really? Thats a pretty cool idea! When i join up with the GSA at the school I'm about to go to I will totally run that by them! Thanks

i love it. its very creatively done, and i like the way the person seems to be peering around the shadow.

Thank you very much I like that part too, to me it kind of represents my coming out of hiding and standing up for what i believe in
