Looks like it's time for hugs and perhaps abduction.
Did some warmups and moved on to a really rough sketch of something vaguely in this pose. Eventually resulted in this thing. I like it.
Used a color scheme generator as well for fun. If I hadn't this guy would probably be a lot more garish.
Typical abstract background. Makes for an altogether half-decent character splash.
