🇺🇦 Ukraine was forever changed on the night of February 23rd, 2022. The world watched as Putin and his soldiers invaded Ukraine and try to deny its right to soverignity. A lot of hands and people came together to help but the war still goes on, Ukraine is still fighting for its right to exist.

This is an event that affects everyone. Here's just one reason why you might care: Ukraine and Russia both account for the production of food that equals to almost 12% of global calories, with more than 30% of global wheat production, almost 30% of Barley and Corn production, 80% of the world's supply of Sunflower oil etc.

All the other conflicts and impoverished areas across the world where Humanitarian food aid is required? Ukraine is a major part of its production. Russia's war on Ukraine is dire for world hunger.

Modern warfare doesn't just extend on Land, Sea and Air. Information, Social and Cyber warfare are being exploited on a scale unlike anything we've ever seen before. Disinformation and misinformation still has a strong foothold.

Donate if you can, keep informed and remember to always fact-check posts and sources as best as you can. No matter how smart you think you are, it's not always easy to spot and you are not immune to propaganda. Check your biases and when in doubt, look it up.

I know all of this sounds bleak and hopeless but there's a lot we can do as citizens of the world. Keeping informed, fighting disinformation, letting your elected officials know and supporting anti-war efforts goes a long way if you're unable to donate or contribute directly. This helps more than you realize, especially in the long run. Love with your heart but use your brain for everything else.

I've been working over the past 2 weeks with various people and organizations and I've seen what people can accomplish when we all come together. There's a lot that must be done, and we can't do it without each and every person along the way that step in to help.
