The Civil War:...fought between the US States...The yanks (Union Soldiers) form my part of the US...Maine-down to Virginia...fought against the Rebels(Confederate soldiers)..from the southern part of the States..Florida-up to Virginia...motslty for the reason that our slodiers fought the south to abolish slavery of African Americans in the 1800's...General Robert E Lee...was the Confederate General...and Gen. Ulysses S Grant was the Union General...we were refered to as "Yanks" or "Blue~Coats"..and we refered to them as "Rebs" or "Grey~Coats" as were the colors of soldier uniforms....you may go do your homewrok now...our lesson for today is finished!
