She is cute.
However her confederate battle flag hat is now considered offensive and racist.
Although the war was about state rights and federal interference it still favored keeping people as slaves. Maintaining the status quo. Many states are now removing those memories and monuments. Changing names on streets and schools. Changing flags.
I can see the point. It would be like naming streets in Germany for old leaders in the Nazi party. We even dropped one of our long standing state holidays.
Confederate Heroes Day from our lists.
She is still cute as all get out and southern girl's accent will just turn your knees to jelly and raise your expectations!

Drop your political correctness and grow up into the real world where people don't care if others are offended.

Its not my correctness.
Its not right to offend others.
I fought for that right and still defend it.
However I defend your right to offend folks.
Call them names. Endorse those offensive ideals.
I will stand between you shouting those ancient southern ideals and those who would like to lynch you up.
Grow up child. Lose those antiquated ideals. I grew up with segregation. I saw it everyday. I remember those signs.....White only Colored only. I remember officers beating folks. I remember Wallace on the steps at Alabama.
I hated it.
All men (and women) are created equal.
If you dont believe that you dont believe in America.
I see your flag, mine is the US flag. One nation.

When things are viewed as 'offensive' then our very freedoms will become sensored amongst society. The image of the Confederacy does not represent racism, it does not represent slavery nor the civil rights movement, and damn sure does not represent white supremacy. The image of the Confederacy in all of its representations have been distorted and hidden by both the fact of the Klu Klux Klan adopting the Confederate States Navy Jack and the fact that the United States government hides the history of the American Civil War from the people. You social justice warrior, this isn't the civil rights movement anymore, this is the 21st century where blacks have individual rights. Don't go throwing that propagandized crap at me, its not going to change the topic and it's not going to make me feel guilty about how history had played out.

If your flag is the Old Glory flag then so be it but my flag is and will always be the flag of the many simular that represented the American people against the tyrannical purge of the South at the hands of the politically motivated industrial North. The South is still alive and kicking and we're still wishing for independence from the same government that keeps getting worse.

You against social justice?
The Confederacy openly stood for keeping and owning people as workers.
No pay. No freedom. No rights. Bought and sold as property.
You ever pick cotton? Cut tobacco? Work from sun up till sundown for the little shack "massar" provided for you? Beaten because you missed your quota of work?
You spout modern southern views.
Open your eyes to the realities of 1860. Not as you say 21 century. You are so smart when did folks get their rights?

"You against social justice?"
I am against social justice because everyone should have enough confidence in themselves to take care of themselves and defend themselves when needed. You should know that as a State trooper, you should understand that everyone must comply with the law and fit their own judgement to how situations play out. Discrimination is one thing but political correctness and sensorship is another, as Americans we should have the full freedoms that are granted to us by the United States Constitution. Freedom of speech should not be limited with "hate speech" claims, it should not be silenced by someone shouting "racist" or "sexist" or even the term "homophobia" towards anyone who disagrees with the individual shouting those worthless titles at people.

I've already explained this to someone this week once so I'll just use the same explanation.
Slavery was not immediately removed by the individual State of South Carolina following the secession of that State to prevent an economic collapse that would have swiped across the agrarian South. South Carolina seceded to preserve their economy primarily following their States' Rights as an individual Republican State of the Union. Some other reasons that regarded to the secession of South Carolina regarded to the regional tariffs placed upon the Southern States by the Republican Party in 1860; I'm not sure the exact date that these tariffs came into play prior to the Civil War and prior to the political party switch of 1860, but those tariffs were placed to limit the conservation of the South, the activity of the slaving part of the Souths economy, and essentially attempting to disrupt the naval ports and types of trade regarding to the cotton and other agricultural cash crops that other countries benefited from in US trade.  The way the leftist Republicans planned all of that out could have devastated the United States economy outside of the slavery issue as they were attempting to expand the industrial North into the South.
Following the election of Abraham Lincoln, the apparent leftist Republican prior to the political party switch, you can surely imagine how confused the American people were at the time that this Presidential election was coming to an end after the actions of the Republican Party; especially since the North was primarily an industrial based economy of Republican States in comparison to the Southern States being based primarily off of an agrarian based economy where the Southern States were Rightist Democratic prior to the political party switch. If you get the political party switch positions of the two parties and the politicians of the two then it is very easy to get the facts confused, especially since we know the two political parties to be completely different in comparison to what they were like back then. Primarily, once the Confederacy was established after the bombardment of Fort Sumter of Charleston, SC, the Fort itself was abandoned by Union forces as it was still under construction from the building of military forts after the War of 1812. As South Carolina had established its militia military, upheld its own economy, it was ready to operate and defend itself from the already aggressive US government. At the time prior to the militia bombardment of Fort Sumter, a leftover Union force was said to be marching North towards North Carolina to retreat outside of South Carolina. Fearful of the potential enemies that they were surrounded by in South Carolina they had taken refuge inside of the abandoned Fort Sumter at the center of Charleston harbor. Long story short, the South Carolina Republic militia opened fire on the fort with cannon and battery shots after the occupying Union party failed to comply to exit the unfinished fort. It can be argued that South Carolina started the Civil War but primarily that one Union garrison was at fault for posing as a hostile force amidst one of South Carolina's largest cities. You can see the explanation here: www.civilwar.org/battlefields/…
After the battle of Fort Sumter had occurred the remaining twelve Southern States seceded in defense of the South Carolinian people in the defense of the Souths economy, culture, constitutional independence, and individual sovereign representation as States to form the Confederate States of America with a Constitution based off of the United States Constitution and essentially a copied Republican based governing system with individual power to the States equal to the power of the federal government with complete compliance. To this day the United States government will not show the true history of the once Right-Wing Democratic Party or the once Left-Wing Republican Party. It will instead demonize the South for what it represented and cover up the essential reasons of the secession of each Southern State and the details of the conflict outside of the slavery issue. The Untied States government does everything in its power to cover up the American Civil War and the remnant of the Confederate States of America anywhere outside of a museum and teaches our children false information if any information at all on the topic.
"Open your eyes to the realities of 1860. Not as you say 21 century. You are so smart when did folks get their rights?"
I know the realities of 1860, you can find it in that explanation of mine. If you think that I'm confusing the 19th century with the 21st century then you're sorely mistaken. If by 'folks', I'm assuming that you're referring to African Americans, in that case, African Americans gained their rights with the Reconstruction Amendments are the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth amendments to the United States Constitution, adopted between 1865 and 1870, the five years immediately following the Civil War. The amendments were important in implementing the Reconstruction of the American South after the war.
