It's incredible to think that Flip and Oswald (the lucky rabbit) were created at the same time and yet only Oswald managed to escape back into the public eye. I remember hearing about this character in my 2D Animation class.

Actually they weren't created at the same time. They were at least three years apart
But they were designed by the exact same guy and almost for the same reason
