Description              After a while of sitting there looking at a door, crying, I ran out of tears. I started to get hungry. I skipped lunch because I didn't feel like eating. Sometimes when I'm upset I lose appetite. I start to go to my room since it's not dinner time yet. I jump on my bed, burying my face in my pillow. Soon I'll meet my mentor. Great they'll just realize I'm weak. I try to clean my face off.
Soon someone calls me for dinner. I walk down the hall to the dining room. I meet my mentor. Ray. I can't believe it. I never saw him get on the train. My mind is racing right now. Why he is my mentor? I keep thinking of other people that could be my mentor but Ray.
Ray and Shiloh talk most of the time during dinner. I eat quickly and go back to my room. I can't stand to be with anyone anymore! I change my clothes and jump into bed. It's only 8pm but I don't care. I need a rest from everything thats's happening. I wish this was all a nightmare and I will wake up any second now. Soon I drift off to sleep.
I wake up at 4am from a nightmare. It's in the future from today. It's Riley. She's twelve years old. She's at the reaping. Ray is there, mom is there, dad is there. Not me. Then the announcer calls Riley Riche as the female tribute. She bursts into tears and walks up. Then the boy tribute is big like Shiloh and Ray. when he is called, he runs up the steps and looks at Riley and laughs evily. Then it cuts to a place where Ray, Shiloh, and the boy are standing, smirking, while mom and dad are crying infront of two graves. One says Juniper Riche and the other Riley Riche. The games have taken us both.
When I wake, I look at the night stars. The shine brightly around the full moon that lights up my room. Who knows when I'll see another beautiful night like this, even though I see it going towards my death. I take a chair and set it next to the window. I sit down and just watch the perfect night as the train makes its way  to the Capitol. I soon get sleepy and my eyes get heavy. I take one last look at the sky. i don't know if I was seeing things or it was real, but I think I saw a shooting star. I quietly whisper my wish to the sky "Bring me home." Then i dozed off.
I wake again at 5:49. When ever I slept over Liona's house she used to tell me the sun rose at 6 o'clock am. It took some time until I was fully awake at around 5:56. Then I looked out the window and wait. After a while, I see the sun brighten up the sky. Soon I doze off again. Now the light is shining on my face. I am in the Capitol. It's 7:30 now. I get dressed and walk into the hall. I look out the door where I last heard the people from home. I go back to the spot where I cryed for an hour and sit there. Soon Shiloh wakes up too. I don't look at him. I just ignore him, he isn't there. I just stare at the door. He walks toward me smirking like Ray. "Morning sweetheart." he says sarcasticly.
I keep staring. This seems to bother him. He gives a quiet growl from his throat. I don't even blink. "Your sure ready to die." He gives an evil laugh and walks towards his room. One single tear comes out. I hope he didn't see it.
