Special Abilities:
Accelerated Healing: Not to be confused with regeneration. He simply heals from wounds at a faster rate than most. A broken leg might take a week or two to completely heal. The only reason his liver has survived thus far.

Physiology: In his world people can take innumerable forms so that coming up with species names became too much of a hassle. Everyone is simply referred to as “human” regardless of looks.

Dislikes: people getting in his business, cheery people, authority

Personality: Flamboyant. He portrays a false air of affluence to make himself seem more important. He is also rather pointedly a negative thinker, preferring to never expect anything good to happen so that he is never disappointed. His manner often comes across blasé, as he is highly desensitized to many things that would affect other people. This also makes him rude and insensitive.

History: He comes from a world gone apocalyptic. For a little over 50 years, that worlds has been slowly and surely dying in a most spectacular way; the magic has gone out of control. The result has been unnatural and bizarre occurrences happening randomly. Fr instance: entire buildings levitating, raining needles upside-down, doorways and paths that don’t go where they should. Inevitably these random occurrences have lead to countless freak accidents where people have died gruesome deaths. Many of the people that were alive before the magic went berserk are already dead and the average lifespan has dwindled to about mid-thirties at best. The youth who have never known the world to be different are all highly desensitized and prone to the type of extreme apathy where nothing really matters and the world is a joke with the punchline being life. As for political affairs, things are not much better. Each country is at war with every other country, each blaming the other for causing the present state of the world. Laws no longer have any meaning and all efforts are focused on war.

Academic institutions are basically non-existent, replaced by military training schools where children as young as six years old are taught to be efficient killers. These schools are brutal, with students dying all the time. In these schools, students are given missions and sent out into real warzones. In his first mission Niel was found to be K.I.A. A year later, however, he showed up back at his school as if nothing had happened, earning him his ‘R’ initial, “Revenant.” Since then higher ups have taken an interest in him and his progress and have given him the opportunity to attend school in a different world since he excelled fast in military training. The caveat for this is that he is expected to return after graduation to fight.
