A snake and candy skull combo certainly isn't an exclusive concept (I think). But as far as I'm concerned, the style, execution, layout, positioning, composition, and etc, are all my own. Viewing my body of work and mission statement, should be proof that I'm not one who'll partake in the practice of "ripping off" (it goes against my very morals). Basically, I have never knowingly ripped off someone elses' work. Someone pointing out that my finished work is similar / reminds them of anothers' work, now that happens once in a while (I really hate it when it happens, but it can't be helped). Note that I even mention what my inspiration was.
So after explaining all that, the only explanation for your claim is that you've seen something similar (and that's older) to this piece (created 2009). May you please take the time in finding said work and providing a link for me? I'd love to see it
And I think I should point out, technically it's an illustration, not a tattoo. As far as I know, no one has this design as an actual tattoo. "Tattoo" was the inspiration behind the design, which is why it's in the title.

My inspiration comes from anything. Concerning tattoo designs, my inspiration mainly comes from the countless beautiful tattoo's I've seen pictures of: the way they work with the shape of the persons body, the smooth shading work, how fun it looks to tattoo, and how I look forward to having a collection of work as strong as the talented tattoo artist behind the work I admire.

I really think you should put a subtle watermark on it that says "DO NOT USE." It's just too good, and if you want dollar for it, you should get it! And hopefully any respectable tattoo artist won't do the work if it has that watermark.

No color version. But if anyone is interested in having it as a tattoo, I hope they have their choose tattoo artist take the concept and make it their own, rather than copy it. This is far from being a flash (which i loathe).
I think it'll be a great first tattoo as well: but nothing smaller than a half sleeve will do it justice.

oh yeah, i think it's totally stupid to copy the motive from the internet and use it then, because then you don't got a tattoo that really suite to yourself! it doens't got the touch..
i just asked you because it would be interesting to see it with colours. must be amazing in dark red, dark green, and soft blue colours and the rest should be white and black

wow this is the more badass remix of the old snake going through the skull tattoo. I love how the detail on the skull and snke cretes movement and compliments te simplistic clouds.
