Well it's been years since I posted anything here but here goes !This is a high res still from a promo animation I made recently for my band "Napier's Bones". Sadly I simply don't have the processing power to render the damned thing at a satisfactory resolution and so Youtube compressed it down into a blocky, blurry mess that you can see here :

Never mind, I thought it would be nice to see a still at high res with all those juicy reflections. Many thanks to my friendΒ nayrmaeye.deviantart.com/ for getting me into heightmaps on the latest version of mandelbulb3d.

Beautiful, but I can understand your frustrations about the animation. Still, when viewing the animation I can see it would be just marvellous in a higher resolution!
