Done for this last fortnight's CHoW over at Conceptart.org.This was kind of a special one. One of the artists who posted some of the best work over there was Glen Angus, aka Gangus, who was an artist with Raven Studios. A few weeks ago he passed away suddenly of an aneurism. This last CHoW topic was chosen from a series of pieces he'd been posting for some time that inspired a great many artists on CA- his Victory Girls series. I'm proud to say the turnout for this event was tremendous, and says something good about fantasy/ scfi artists as a community that a tiny little weekly activity can turn into something like this so swiftly.
Anyway, This one's for you Gangus.

this is an awesome picture, whatever backstory aside I love it, she's gorgeous the wings of death embody the feeling when these thing bear down on you and overall a sense of stellar grace is given!!

Also, I was looking through the other submissions and I like yours even more now. Glen said he didn't draw women naked for the sake of being naked- he only did it as long as the piece called for it and was tasteful. Most of the other entries did just have topless/naked women for the sake of it.. so kudos, you did a terrific job

This is one of my recent favorite Star Wars works. The TIE Defender is probably my favorite fighter, so seeing those in a drawing is pretty neat. You did a great job on the Dark Jedi woman; good figure, shading was done well, and I am really liking the purple wings coming out of her back.

Very well done overall, although as a diehard player of the old game "TIE Fighter" I'd noticed that the TIE-Defenders are a bit out of proportion, as the wing/panel assemblies stick out rather far and make the fighter rather large.
Teeny nerdly quibbles aside, I like it!
