Ultimate. Mathematician
By definition, “a mathematician is someone who uses extensive knowledge of mathematics in his or her work, typically to solve mathematical problems”. Da Masaki Peng, during her studies at the Tokyo Imperial University, based her research and work around numbers. Appearing a simple field on first glance, Masaki has actually made few great contributions to the world of math. By discovering additional two digits of the number π and proving the abc conjecture, which many before her spent years trying to understand, she built herself a reputation of the most brilliant young mathematician in the world. Needless to say however, numbers aren’t all Masaki knows -- spending years in educational institutions specialized for math, as well dedicating immense hours of her free time into mathematical research, she possesses great knowledge about data, quantity, structure, space, models and change. While numbers are what she is the best at, she excels in each field she partakes in, although she certainly has a long way to undergo before she would be able to call herself the best mathematician in the world, as those of more experience present competition.
Masaki can work with incredibly large numbers with ease, solving detailed equations in the blink of an eye. She possesses logical flow of thoughts and deduction, and holds a big number of algorithms for solving problems memorized in her head. Certainly, she holds great potential for discovering things that could change the world of math as we know it, or so the professors that had mentored her in her studies so far have claimed.
Court Talents.Algorithm of murder
As a mathematician, Da has a clear and logical trail of thoughts. Just like math problems have algorithms to solve them, so do criminal cases and, though not introduced with this field of study yet, Masaki is quick to learn about the paths she’s expected to take in solving such. Considering she proved a theorem, deduction doesn’t present a problem to her.
Open set
Being the freethinking person she is, Masaki is not likely to take sides and her actions and words are not strayed by her emotions. She isn’t biased and isn’t afraid to state facts while ignoring other people’s emotions. If sending someone for an execution is a mean for her success, she is willing to take that path.
Court Weaknesses.First place
Masaki loves to argue and lead discussions that are not likely to contribute to the trial. She is willing to go on until she’s brought her opponent down and proved herself right. This can often take away from the trial time but that’s only a small price to pay for her victory.
Second place
Although it’s often hard to win an argument against Masaki, it is quite easy to bring her down once done so. In case she states a wrong fact or loses an argument, it’s the end of her glory. Being wrong is something Masaki hates the most and she will take her time to resort her thoughts after she has, speaking only when she absolutely has to.

(+) Logical . Freethinking. Hardworking . Incisive . Neat (+)
(0) Competitive . Introverted . Idealistic . Mature . Remorseful (0)
(-) Self-critical . Snobbish . Selfish . Contrary . Cold (-)
First thing anyone would notice about Da - how cold the girl acts; She barely displays any emotions, so her speech often sounds more on the formal side, and sometimes talking to her even feels a little condescending. Some would consider her mature for this, while others would argue it makes it hard to communicate with her, especially due to the fact she often shows to be very contrary, seeming to enjoy disagreeing and arguing with people. This type of an ice cold barrier, however, hides a lot more to her personality.
Something that most people would deduct from this behavior is that Masaki is introverted. She doesn’t enjoy expressing herself to those she doesn’t know and she minds crowd and noise. She would rather sit in her room while solving complicated math problems, something that partially came from her self-criticism. She doesn’t forgive herself for even the smallest mistakes and, as a result, developed to be hardworking. Be it math or anything else she decided to take on, she must complete the task perfectly, and, for that, she must work her best. She is very idealistic and always aims for perfection, but sometimes even that much doesn’t feel enough. To her, it simply feels like if she doesn’t do things even better, there will be someone out there who does, and, knowing that, Da can’t let herself rest. This has proven her to be quite competitive with others. Perhaps that is her main drive for trying as hard as she is. She’s willing to take various paths to reach the top, that perfection she is looking for, often kicking aside others and their needs and feelings. To her, only she matters, and no one else. However, even she can tell that this is selfish of her, yet she can’t help but look for a way to excuse herself since, on the contrary, she’s a very remorseful person and feels a huge sense of guilt. It’s as if two forces are fighting inside of her, making it difficult to decide whether she wants to be a decent person or stand on top. The results of her decisions are often the latter and will be unless she has come to deeply care about someone. After all, doing good things for herself is not bad, as she often excuses herself, and she loves being above others for various reasons and she won’t deny that. In fact, she quite often acts like a snob, bringing up her achievements like they are too easy for her and often making comments about the others’ IQs while avoiding the topic of how she actually reached these achievements. It makes her feel like her efforts were worth it and she feels better about herself that way.
However, despite her hard work and competitiveness, what brings the best results when it comes to doing so well in math is her logical thinking. After all, for a good mathematician, it should be easy to connect 2+2. Her mind is usually on numbers though, so not even she can call herself Sherlock, she’s far from that. Another thing which helps her in solving difficult math problems and proving the hardest theorems is how freethinking she is. She does her best to think outside the box and take different approaches regardless of other people and problem schemes. Looking at an example is not above her, but she knows how to learn from it and develop her own ways of thinking. Da is also incisive, and her thinking process is rather analytical and clear; her mind follows an organized line of thoughts and branches only when needed. Similarly to her thoughts, her surroundings are very neat as well. She keeps her things clean and organized as it helps her keep her mind as it is - clear and rational.
All of this, both the good and the bad, make up the person known today as Ultimate Mathematician.

Public Record.
Da Masaki Peng, a Singaporean four-year streak Math Olympics champion and a N◯S High School of Math and Science honors graduate, today proved how well deserved all those gold medals are.
Currently studying abroad in Japan at the University of Tokyo, or Imperial Tokyo University as some call it, Masaki Peng has managed to do what many mathematicians worth mentioning tried before her - She has proven the abc conjecture.
The abc conjecture is a conjecture in number theory, first proposed by [...]

The young mathematician walked us through her path to success: “Numbers always fascinated me.” she says; “As a child, playing with numbers was really fun so I decided to take up Kangourou math competition. That’s how my addiction for math started.”, she explains. Despite some struggles, Masaki Peng accents how important hard work and dedication is.
However, this isn’t the first time Masaki Peng’s name has made its way into the world of math. A month prior to her outbreaking research, she had discovered two additional digits of the number π. All of this, adding to the success she’s maintained as a high school students, has led the Future Union University to believe that exactly this bright girl is suited for the title of Ultimate Mathematician. Masaki Peng has stated that she will be studying at the New York FUU campus later this year as she reports. “I’m looking forward to it.”, she expressed her excitement with short words. We will continue to follow Masaki Peng in her research of Hilbert’s problems and the ⅓-⅔ conjecture!

Hobbies.
Doing math -- If it wasn’t obvious enough, Masaki enjoys playing with numbers and is often found staring at a notebook with a pencil in her hand. Whether it’s calculating the velocity of a table or the surface of a pen, if it has numbers and shows results Masaki will take on it.Leading discussions -- Something she’s taken up recently is having discussions about various subjects on internet blogs. Blogs aren’t her only domain though, she will start discussions with just about anyone on anything. Her main goal is, of course, proving the other person wrong, as being right is the best feeling there is. Her approach is very civil however, and she is often not biased.Reading professional literature -- Being as strict on herself as she is, Masaki used to force herself into reading professional literature on just about any subject, before it slowly grew onto her. Reading difficult material is her means of acquiring more knowledge that will be of use in proving her intellectual superiority over other people, but she also somehow started finding joy in learning new, sometimes complicated things.
Likes. / Dislikes.
✔ Discourse -- Aside from liking to be a part of one herself, she finds it entertaining to watch two idiots discuss things they don’t know about.
✔ Numbers -- If not obvious enough by her occupation, Masaki enjoys working with numbers. Her favorite types of games always include some math.
✔ Instrumental music -- She enjoys different types of instrumental music and listens to it gladly while resting and before sleep.
✔ Milk tea -- As she doesn’t find the taste of coffee too pleasant, she enjoys milk tea when she has to stay up for long hours and indulge herself in research.
✔ Spicy food -- Yum yum! (っ˘ڡ˘ς)
✖ Romance -- It’s very unnecessary and unreasonable. What’s the goal?
✖ Noise -- She finds it hard to focus if there is any noise present.
✖ Bugs with long legs -- Eugh...
✖ Mint -- It’s not refreshing for her, just icky. It’s like something was meant to be spicy but failed.
✖ Contact lenses -- She can’t stand anything touching her eyes, so the thought of putting contacts on makes her shudder, not to mention taking them off. }

Trivia.- She can speak three languages
- Native level of English - As the official language of Singapore, Masaki has spent her entire life speaking and communicating in English. While she attended primary school where classes were held in Mandarin, the rest of her education (excluding university) has been in English, and therefore she finds comfort in writing her research papers in the language.
- Fluent level of Mandarin - Growing up in a family where Mandarin was spoken every day, as well as being surrounded by it throughout a part of her education, Masaki speaks and writes it almost as well as English.
- Fluent level of Japanese - Considering she spent a little over a year in Japan during her studies and learned the basics from her father and grandfather who are of Japanese heritage when she was younger, she learned the language without much struggle and uses it without difficulty.
- Although she wears glasses, she can do just fine without them as well, since her sight isn’t damaged that drastically.
- Has pierced ears.
