I like the way this photograph was cropped/framed even though in my opinion it could be improved upon. One may point out that there is perhaps a little too much empty space above the subject's head and a few other minor things not worth mentioning.

I would be hard pressed to find something "off" about the photo, except maybe what someone mentioned in the comments about the amount of light coming in from the window. This is something that could be addressed/"fixed" in Photoshop. However! I personally like it. My reason is this: the subtle textures of the empty white wall sort of softens the transition between the two visually independent backgrounds. The gradient created is pretty much on point, and really makes the foreground pop. And that is after all; the point of the bg.

In my opinion the subject is perfectly lit. I'm assuming it is 100% natural light. If not, even more credit to you.

I really like the textures on the sweater, and the hotspot right round the neck not only cutting out the elegance of the shoulders but also the the form of your fingers. I even like how it is not perfectly in focus. Your face is slightly soft.

The only thing I might change are aspects of the pose itself. It is on point, don't get me wrong. But I would like to see a little more of the shoulder that seems like it is actually pointing right at me.... another thing I liked - the angle of the pose with respect to the lens... coupled with the slightly low angle of the perspective. The only thing it lacks in that department is a strong vertical neckline.

I would love to take a shot at doing my own edit of a photograph like this.

May I ask who took the photo?

Oh, and great job! Thanks for posting this one. This is the kind of work I really enjoy.

Lovely image. I agree, it may be a bit ti light on the left. But I assume that's where the light came from for the shot, beautiful pose and the image is very pleasing. But then I don't believe I've ever seen a bad image of you.

Maybe too much light on the left side - a curtain would maybe help. But beautiful pose (maybe not too comfortable but not visible), hair is great. And the title could be "Oh, a broken nail!"
