I hate it when people say that digital art isn't art. Really, what do you base this on? The computer DOESN'T do everything for you. It DOESN'T put the ideas in your head, and it DOESN'T magically make you a master of anatomy. It DOESN'T put those tiny little details in the coloring. It DOESN'T read your mind and draw for you. All it does is make it POSSIBLE to get certain effects without spending $65,637,857,839.74 on supplies. With SOME programs, you get filters that help you clean up your mistakes, or see what something should look like, though they RARELY work for a large part of any piece. And even THEN, they're damn hard to figure out how to use well.If it portrays an idea, and you made it by some means, it's art. HOW you did it changes nothing.

Hell yes!
Sometimes when people (not dA people) see some of my stuff they're like "OMG how did you do that" and I'm like "on mah computer" and they're like "...Oh." It's rather annoying when people think it's any easier than traditional art. People seem to think computers are just magical things that you can just press a button and create a masterpiece.
