it's about time i uploaded something, don't ya think? xD

have you ever wondered what would happen... if day merged with night...? no? well, neither have i xD so, this is fanart of Yoi from Pokemon: Splice by , who apparently did wonder.

i drew her in a more plum color, not only because i prefer that color, but also because black is kinda hard to shade.

the background is pink/purple and black, for espeon and umbreon. and i love that combo of colors.

i drew and colored this on Paint (crappy early Paint) and shaded and made it look more... professional on Photoshop Elements. THERE ISN'T A TOOL TO MAKE FUR, (that i know of) I MADE THE FUZZ ON THE RINGS FROM SCRATCH ^^

it took me, like, SEVEN FRICKIN HOURS to do this thing. and, being the perfectionist that i am, i went and softened up all of the lines. -__-

i used a pen tablet, but i hadn't used it in years, so it took quite a bit of getting used to.

i know she looks a bit troubled. i did that for a reason. i mean, her brother became a monster that's slowly slipping into insanity. i'd be worried, too.

songs i listen to while making this (some are from InuYasha... but i think they kind of fit with Yoi. i dunno... i just like them) :
