Another old family snap of the Transmission twins from circa 1999, this time as boistrous 13-year-olds teasing their then 6-year-old brother Trevor! The twins' hair is based on how mine looked when I was in my mid-teens, and the football strips were sort of correct for the time too. I wasn't aiming for 100% accuracy, it is a work of fiction after all ^^. I do plan for Trevor of course to change appearance as the comic progresses (he's always into something different!) but here he looks pretty much like his older brothers, except he has darker hair.I didn't ever think that when I started giving him more regular appearances he'd become such a likable character. I based the twins relationship with him on that of mine with my own younger brother, who I often would fight and argue with when we were little. But that is typical of siblings and reflecting on your own experiences is among the best inspiration for any work!

Trevor is much like me! I have two older brothers myself...well, half-brothers, to be precise, my father was married once before he met my mother. They're both nearly 20 years older than me. I'm sad to say I've hardly ever seen them...one of my half-siblings (who actually shares a first name with you!) is a father of three, and yet I've never gotten to meet my half-neices and nephews!
I can sympathize with Trevor here...Not because I was picked on by my older brothers (mainly because as I said I rarely ever saw them) but because I was bullied and teased a lot when I was that age. I once got locked in a toolshed during recess by a kid who tricked me into going in there to go fetch a ball

Why can't all brothers get along, they seem to be teasing him because he is small, and isn't that the same little brother that got drunk and destroyed the car?

Oooh, that's the Stoke kit from their pre-prem time if I'm not mistaken.
Also, it's strange the characters people latch onto first. I didn't expect Bosco to be as popular as he is, and I'm sure the Simpsons never imagined Homer being anything more than "Bart's dad" in the early years

He's not broken anything prized to me for a veeeery long time. For the record, it is Reg who is holding the ball up - Russ isn't as cruel as he is. ^^
