You know, there are actually some nice motels where I live.
Anyways, this pic brings back memories of past Florida vacations. I'm actually leaving for another one in just a week. : D
Great work as always Frey! ; )
Ya know, the license plate "FOX975" seems familiar. Where have I seen that plate number before?...

I love how you made the sky look so realistic. It's very ambient.

Still got some motels around where I live, although they are a lot more cheap and worn-down looking than this...and you don't see this many people hanging around them. I get the feeling the people who actually do hang around there aren't exactly the most savory types...!

Damn, this is straight out of my 1970s childhood!Β Only the 'rents never took my sister and I anywhere that had palm trees!Β But, then again, my high school senior class stayed atΒ place like this, only larger, during a trip to Florida.

So we have a black '65 Mustang fastback, yellow '69 Camaro, red truck looks like a hybrid of a '73+ Chevy with the front end of a '67+ Ford F100. Station wagon is giving me early-80s Ford Granada wagon vibes. And of course the purple '71 Challenger. :3
The one I'm having trouble with is the red coupe, which I just realized looks like a '74-78 AMC Matador.

Not really, it's just a place where lovers go to have extramarital encounters.

What scares you about the USA? It's a BIG country with a wide variety of people and cultures. The west coast and east coast are both somewhat different (I love both their quirks), and that's just the start!

as i say, i dont know what it is but it is the one thing i fear.
the one thing in life im afraid of, is america. dont ask me why, its just some kinda feeling i get. its not the people, some of my closest friends (even my boyfriend) are american...
*sighs* idk what it is...

That was a fun touch, but a bit annoying to do because I had to do a few tries of it.

Ahhh very well done! I can easily imagine Trixie in one of that motel rooms, seducing some old politician for a bunch of greens xD
Great atmosphere!

Went to a motel once. It was surprisingly nice. Small, especially for a family of four, but nice.

Premier Inns and Travellodges are budget hotels in the UK that were sort of similar, but more up to date and without the sleaze. The rooms were quite spacious, worked well for my family of four - unfortunately I hated sleeping in the same room as everyone else, especially my dad because he snored loudly >.< In more recent years I have had the room to myself though since I travel alone now.

Don't recall which one we stayed at. And wow, I hated sharing a room with my brother. Everyone in my family snores, but at least theirs I can sleep through. My brother can keep almost anyone awake with his snoring! Now imagine having to share a bed with him, you will NOT sleep well!
