Personality:
Apollo just breaths gentleness. Everyone who looks at him will see immediately that he's a big sweetie-pie.
He's also a dreamer and a bit of a weirdo. He tends to look like he's somewhere far of in his mind. He likes to observe everything around him from a distance, which also tends to make him the odd one out in groups. He isn't very comfortable between his own kind. Apollo has no stallion tendencies, which makes him as easy to ride as a gelding, though Sophia is kind of hoping that he will grow to be more self aware as he grows older.
He's the type who always tries to do what you ask of him to the best of his abilities, so you need to watch out that you don't ask to much. He's very intelligent, but teaching him new things will still take quite some patients and a lot of knowledge and experience. Apollo tends to over think things and he won't put the learned at use until he's sure that that is what you want from him and that he's able to do it correctly. However, when he has become comfortable with the new learned stuff, everyone can ask it of him. He's not the best beginners horse as he needs a rider where he can lean on emotionally and mentally. Surprisingly he loves kids. He's very careful with them and even seems to enjoy playing and cuddling with them. The professional distance he seems to have towards adults isn't there with children.
Apollo will never become aggressive. If he's treated badly or people just don't take account of his personality enough, the stress will weight heavenly on his health (think colic, ulcers and chronic lameness). He will mentally drift away in his own dreamworld and psychically wither away without apparent reason. That's how he fights.
