HABITAT: Gryphlythos are mostly found deep underground. They are rarely seen by people, and may only be encountered high in the sky over dry regions. Like gryphwing's other two final evolutions in the mineral egg group, the spend most of their time underground. They dwell in the deepest parts of the lithosphere, where most humans never venture because of high pressures, low oxygen and toxic gases. Their wings are strong enough to literally plow through stone upon flapping, as if they are flying through rock.
