Description A photo of a sculpture I've done. It's not completely finished just yet, but I decided to take a photo of it anyway.

Happy Holidays!

Unik.

A very unique sculpture; I can honestly say I have never seen a work of art similar to this. I find the originality entrancing, even if the sculpture itself is disconcerting.

This is meant to be a compliment, by the way; I feel like I have seen far too many works of art that cease to be art in my eyes once I've seen the same idea many times.

I like disconcerting, I like the shock factor, I like that you have the creative vision to sculpt such a subject that is still taboo in society.

Great job.

Fuck this is gross. But awesome I wanna see a clearer shot of it that's not been photoshopped. What kinda medium did you use? You're too cool for like, your own good.

How's Schweden?

freakyhedgehog In reply to satanic57 [2007-01-02 13:33:36 +0000 UTC]

Well that's its purpose. And thanks. I used Super Sculpey, the same clay I used to make "mini me".

Schweden has just gotten some snow. I've had the first snow-less christmas. Not cool....

Hows HK and my favourite emo?

Cool I might want some of this stuff for my Sculpture project which I'm starting soon hm. Snow? Fuck I don't even remember that stuff, so stfu jeeeeeeeeeerk.

HK is good, Emo is good. I doubt I'm still your favourite though

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

freakyhedgehog In reply to satanic57 [2007-01-06 16:29:03 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, you definitely should. It's really great to work with, plus it doesn't melt before it hardens, so it stays the way you made it when you bake it. Just don't make it too thick. But get some super sculpey, you should be able to find it in some art shop.

And yeah, snow. We have it now. But it's so frickin' cold.

Well, I don't know all that many emos so you sure are.
I haven't talked with you for quite a while though. How's the photography thing for the HK magazine going? And me and some friends are considering going to HK in the summer. Can you recommend it? Or maybe some other asian country?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

satanic57 In reply to freakyhedgehog [2007-01-13 16:36:51 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I've never heard of Super Sculpey though but I'll have a look.

I'm SO not emo anymore! I've like, picked myself off my sorry lil ass and am ultra positive these days. Well last week not counted. The photography thing is over but I now have like a monthly spread in one of the magazines for my own theme-based pictures so that's cool. Course I'd recommend HK, probably completely different to Sweden. I'd show you around in the Summer but I might not be here but I'll definitely tell you what to do where to go etc..

Vietnam / Cambodia are awesome, you'll have alot of fun. Thailand is great.. (Krabi .. Bangkok lots of shopping food etc) Malaysia is great.. (Kota Kinabalu, a great island called 'Manukan Island' you have to take a boat ther, really nice resort beach place).. etc etc.

freakyhedgehog In reply to satanic57 [2007-01-14 21:12:42 +0000 UTC]

Wow, you have? Well, I don't know. Will I like this new, positive (you are talking about your mood right?) Jeff? Wow, well that sounds really great. I haven't had much time to do any art lately. Just need to get my inspiration back I guess. Well, how is the food and prices in HK? Is it similar to.... say London? Or is it cheaper? Since the flight to Asia would cost a lot, then the food and living would have to be cheaper.

And yeah, I've been to Thailand. Like 10 years ago. Amazing country. We went to this transexual cabaret, kind of fun actually. Though one trannie scared the shit out of me, I remember. Creepy...

So, what are you doing after school is over?

Oh, and any tips on some stuff I need to get? Like cologne or clothes or lenses or anything like that? since I now have a lot more money than I usually have.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

satanic57 In reply to freakyhedgehog [2007-01-15 13:03:26 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Yeah positive in the nice way not in the fuckmylifeisoverivegotaidsfromthisrandom swedishdude kinda way, you know? Yeah yeah.

Food is CHEAP in comparison with London srsly. You can eat locally for what like $40 for nice food and a drink, but I don't know too many of these places. But yeah you can definitely eat well for $60-80 bucks, yes! Shopping is cheap depending where, we've got our own fair share of brands and expensive malls and stuff but there are cool places called 'ladies market' not just for ladies really, but yeah I'm sure you wouldn't mind anyway. You can do lots of bargaining. Electronics are uber cheap here btw. Rent is mediocre depending on where you're staying. One hour hotels for you, yeah?

Thailand creeps me out esp. when trannies check me out. Ew.

School is over in like more than a year ie ages away! But this summer I'll be in the states hopefully, going around Boston, Cali, NYC Hopefffffully.

MONEY OMG DONATE SOME TO ME I need a 24-70mm, srsly I'll give you my paypal. If you're feeling less generous then .. go get some clothes yeah, clothes are cool. Go to IKEA and shop for some cool lamps! Oh you should work on redoing your room, like.. I have this great idea of blowing up a huge city scene and pasting it on your entire wall and then adding curtains on the side so it really looks like it's a window or something. That's gonna cost quite a bit

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

freakyhedgehog In reply to satanic57 [2007-01-15 21:11:01 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, well it could have been either way. So how was I to know?

Well how much for a litre of wine at a restaurant. Or a glass for that matter? And how's the nightlife. According to Jess, it's great. But she said that a long time ago. And I'm not sure if I would dare to buy electronics over there. Maybe in some fancy shop I'm sure they don't sell me crap in.

Oh, come on. You so like it when the trannies check you out.
I don't know why there are so many there though... weird.

Uhm, why the states?

Well, I do want to spend my money on buying useless, but expensive crap for myself... If I ever get bored of that, then maybe you could have some. But I wouldn't count on it. And nah... don't feel like fixing my room. I am planning on moving in the not too distant future so that would just be a waste of time and money. But I always have wanted a "photo wall".

Hm, I'll have to check out that new 'Antidote' cologne... see if I like it.
I've gotten addicted to colognes these past few weeks. Love the ones I've got. Oh, and I might go to Italy sometime soon as well, with some friends. Might find something nice there as well.

Oh, about the lense. Is the 24-70mm a good bet for portraits and fashion photography and such?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

satanic57 In reply to freakyhedgehog [2007-01-18 14:23:32 +0000 UTC]

A litre of wine? We do bottles, boy. And it all depends. Everything is relative! You could grab a bottle from the supermarket for easily under a hundred bucks but it could go all the way up to god knows. But yeah lots of bars have housewine for not too expensive / glass.

Buy some nice cologne yes! Oh a sub to JPG magazine for ME would be nice too, come on be generous it'll give you good Karma. Yeah 24-70 should be good. I'm better though.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

freakyhedgehog In reply to satanic57 [2007-01-19 17:37:59 +0000 UTC]

Well you know, a litre at a restaurant, like the housewine. Since in sweden you get a bottle (70cl) for about 200 or something like that, which is way way too expensive. It costs about 1/4 or 1/3 of that in the liquor stores.
But yeah, I'm talking about regular non-brand wine. Then how about drinks? How much does a 6cl-drink? It's about 80-90 over here.

Yeah, I already have Boss: in motion, Van Gils: basic instinct and Armani: Aqua di GiΓ³. I'm thinking about the new cologne from V&R - Antidote. Though I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

And yeah... hrm...
maybe next time I'll buy you one. Like.... never...

Hm, any other photo-stuff I simply HAVE to get?
