Actually, the deluge of commissioned artworks is more of me trying to at least offset the lack of YYH artworks on dA. Since YYH is an ancient series, very few people draw anything from it. And, if at all, they do mostly the yaoi kind. Most artists I've commissioned nga have neither seen nor even heard of YYH. Kabataan ko lang talaga ito.

Botan just happens to be my favorite character, so she's the "victim" in this, haha. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy enough points to commission all the characters every single time. Ah, well.

aaah.. obsession.. im the same for Euphemia.

its true that YuyuHakusho is lacking here in dA.. that anime built my childhood days...i just cant see why people dont like to draw much from such a great anime of old times.. btw, i like Botan Charlene the best too.. i felt so bad for her when she was kidnapped in the movie.. her upbeat and carefree attitude is sorta my ideal type... and she has the best character design in YYH too.. (besides from master jericho. LOL)..an OAR as a flying medium!.. so original!

Haha. But you hardly draw her now. (Don't tell me--inspiration for Hana's design? Unlikely, but lol, just asking.)

IKR. I loved it more than Sailormoon...and I was absolutely crazy over SM back then. Hmm, well, out with the old, in with the new naman talaga ang takbo ng buhay. Haha, man, that movie was so terrible yet so great! I had wanted badly to see Botan with her hair down, so it was a most welcome addition to the franchise for me. And I agree! I also think she's one of the most original shinigami in the manga/animé world.

Togashi is a genius. Too bad he's one hell of a lazy sickly artist. Art notwithstanding, his [manga] writing is one of the best there is.

i draw Euphie privately, (not some perv thing LOL) She was my inspiration for my characters Ayame and Euri. and a bit for Hana too.. but my OCs were so old,.. i made them when i was like.. 6?!

for some reason i didnt like sailormoon. lol hahaha. yeah.. mahirap din kasi nasstuck sa past.

Geez, may mga tao talagang maligalig ang imagination no? I've never had an original character. If I try to make one, I'm sure it'll be an amalgamation of different characters I like.

Meh. I find it better to play with "official" characters (within reason, of course) than make one that's just basically a combination characters I like. I do understand you about expressing yourself with OCs, though; most of the time the characters we create are extensions of ourselves.

There's just no better way for me to express myself than writing. I have always been a writer.
