The transformation is now powered by a new feeling: Hope.
I did experiment with changing my look in that broom closet and finally fell asleep. In reality, I couldn't bring myself to commit to it, though. I doubt it would've helped but, when I look back, I wish I had.
My old school friends had already cut me off online when I told them I wasn't going to their school anymore.
The school had apparently had a lively and diverse After School club scene ...that had recently been forbidden. There wasn't anyone that could give a good explanation.
The Computer Lab sign was one of those printed banners that were so popular in the 90s.
The design for the Janitor is based on Mom Turner from The Fairly Odd Parents ...for no other reason than, in the pilot, you couldn't see her head (yes, I know there were many shows at the time with characters that had this gimmick --which was precisely the reason why they decided not to stick to it--, but I honestly didn't like any of them!)
