I was out bike riding at some garage sales and one I stopped at, I couldn't help sorting the Blue Rays from the DVDs. The neighbour said jokingly I should help out, and I agreed to. So the next day I came equipped with some boxes for sorting and my hot glue gun with extra sticks and cardboard to make pricing signs with. I worked all day helping rearrange everything and put price tags sort things in boxes. It was very rewarding, and I asked for no payment. The joy of lending a helping hand and being in good company was the reward.

On that same splendid day I got to meet again with a wonderful neighbour who took such a shine to me she asked me to stay with for the rest of her sale. She even check her mail. What an honour. She told me that she lost her and her husband's wedding rings. Touched by her story, I made this necklace for her before she moved using gold, see-thru and genuine pearl beads. I had to guess what style might appeal to her so I went with an old fashioned theme.

For the wedding rings, I twisted two pieces of wire into circles with jewelry pliers (from Hobby Lobby) and stacked them with micro glass beads and two stunning Swarovski crystals. I worked diligently on it and was pleased that she like the end result, noting that she loved the addition of pearls.

Shout out: The gold coloured glass beads are from JoAnn Fabrics, the smaller rounded gold beads from Hobby Lobby, as it the toggle clasp.
