June 26th, 2014Decided to try out a new spot I had previously scoped out to shoot some lightning off a storm developing near Lincoln, NE. This spot had a great view to the southwest, so I was able to shoot the storm despite being ~50 miles away!
Actually sold a little footage from this storm to Good Morning America, so as it turns out, local photo ops can pay off

Getting a shot with lightning is very difficult at best. But the fact that you caught this with such beautiful shades of purple and blue in it is simply astounding. Great catch sir!

A fine example of why religion is strong in the Midwest.
