well i was having a seriouse artist block and i couldnt draw anything right .. so then i kept watching "the earth king" on youtube and then had a sudden urge to draw katara.. so noting that i am grounded from scanning anything i took my inspereation to photoshop CS and pulled out my drawing pad and began to free hand draw on the computer.. i love the way katara did the water wip in this episode so natrually with my photo graphic memorie i began to sketch then layer then draw over then ink then base color then do the layer coloring then the background ( besicly was a sorry attempt to make it look like fire ) and then with a few last minute touches i was finished .!! oh andi want to ask a question .. any one who knows what the niber is to make the picture smaller please tell me cause i reallY REALLY whant to know how to make my pics smaller thank u . wel i hope u enjoy my artists block breaker .. ^^ ( now if only i can start drawing like this on paper again T.T) all in al this pic took me about a good 3 hours with everything in it

The thing that really appealed to me was her expression and the way her body is positioned. It's very dynamic and moving. It's a really good pic, honestly.

hwaaaaaaa. I thought I was the only one who noticed how SICK Katara did all that water whipping. It was incredible. I noticed her whip got longer and she was able to control it more. Plus, I think they paid closer attention to animating the movement of her whip, because when she was talking to the Earth King and he told them to put their weapons away, her whip swooshed back into her water holder thingy like I've never seen it animated before. It was nice.
She rocks FIRENATION SOCKS.
I'm gonna die from the trailer of the next episode.

thank u thank u .. i was literally hyper ventalating when i saw the trailer for the next episode on dec 1st i was like litterally yelling ZUTARA WILL BE CANNON at the tv and laughing maniaticly .. ( that goes to show how much of a zutara shipper i am ) oh dont forget to check out my zuko one k ^^
