Part art trade; part Christmas present.... here's Boom Kitty!She's not first on the list for art trades, but inspiration struck. And when you're as tired/busy/stressed out as I am, and your muse visits, you snap up the opportunity!
I used a Bouncing Souls poster that I picked up at Warped Tour this summer as a reference for the pose. Credit for that idea goes to brianewing.com.
Used Micron Pen (05 size), Violet Prismacolor marker, Staedtler watercolor pencils, Mahogany Crayola colored pencil... and Photoshop for some cleanup.

This is spactacular. I'd say everything looks just about perfect.
I love the expression above all else, as would make sense, but I was really impressed at how you so excellently tapered the proportions with distance from the viewer. All the physics seem in check as well with the beautiful creases in the pillows.

Thats really good. I like the anatomy and the pose. I've watched your art skills improve since I first came across your gallery. (Much faster than mine) It inspires me as well. Keep it up!

If i had to be critical, though, the only single problem i see with this pic is her feetpads. the big one in the middle is like it's just painted on, rather than being a seperate bit of leathery skin, as they normally are in animals. That's about it.
Otherwise, I love this. Her face looks -very- playful, just as cats would be. Congrats. :3
