Hooray for sushi! I'm trying to standardize the look - I realized that with the existing head feather arrangement, it'd be impossible for me to see out both sides, which seems very un-hippogriffy. This seems to be a good compromise that will still credibly look like a full shock of "hair" from the opposite side. And experimenting with a better way to draw expressions through a mane / head of hair. Still having a lot of fun experimenting with this form. I drew this in about 30 minutes and colored it in about 60, so that's a pretty good turnover time for something like this.

And it's spicy tuna, by the way.
