There is an annual hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico that I attended two years in a row. I've been to few events that were more awesome to behold. Literally thousands of hot air balloons ascending toward the heavens in symphonies of vibrant color, and in the midst of it all I'm snapping away like a madman. Wasted A LOT of film the first year and was more wise the second, but this was the best picture by far that came out of that experience. Probably one of my best shots overall. Taken with a Canon A-1 on Fujifilm, 24mm Canon lense.Related content

hmm...tis a good point. placing a black or white matting around my photos would touch them up a bit...anyway, thanks for the compliment.

ya, shot on fuji velvia. its a positive print film, so the colors are just astounding...pain in the butt having to go through the scan process though

ya, just be careful - u have to keep it in the fridge when storing it, then shoot it within a week or so of thawing.
