It reminds me great Li Bo lyrics! though I know it in Russian and English translation doesn't seem to be as beautiful, let me put it here-
The River Chu cuts through the middle of heaven's gate,
The green water flowing east reaches here then swirls.

I generally like the effect of the pollution/haze in your photos, but hear it seems to really reinforce the state of disrepair and decay of the structures in the foreground. Disturbing.
