Dr. Gerald Leopold Mixten is head scientist of Mixten Genetics. He rarely leaves his basement office, but when he does, he tends to unsettle his staff. He hasn't done anything mind you, he's just... I dunno... odd in a foreboding way that's hard to describe.

When he looks at you, it's like he's staring right though you... like something else always has his attention. He also rarely, if ever, uses contractions. I can't tell if he's trying to come off more intelligent, menacing, or if he's just a smug S.O.B.

The Lab itself seems like your standard genetics lab, with much of what is done there falling under the realm of genetic testing for diseases, ancestry, and the like. However, Dr. Mixten has been secretly been leading a side project for years. Aside from himself and higher level lab techs, the details aren't fully known, but it involves sequencing genomes of various organisms and combining the products with a mysterious compound shipped in from another bio lab. All of this work is funded as a subsidiarity of the openly morally dubious "Harris Pharmaceuticals."

What this serum is, and why it is being produced, is a question that has yet to be answered.
