True on both counts. I'm taking a little trip to Centralia later this summer if things go well, and I'm going to an old CC camp near where I live to take some pics this weekend. Just in case you're wondering, A CC camp is a place where people used to go to earn money when jobs weren't plentyful. They were cesspools of desease, and lice. Alot of people died during those years untill they were disbanded. This one in peticular is in an old army base ordinance. Most of the buildings were still there when I was last there, so I should get some pretty good pics.

It's going to be a great place for pics now, but back then it was a horrible place. Alot of people died for no other reason than the doctors wouldn't go there because they wouldn't get paid as much because the govornment was footing the bill. They had their own medical people, but they weren't educated or equiped to handle what was happening there.

Sad.
Our ancestors, even the more recent, had hard, sometimes cruel, lives. We need to be more appreciative of all that we have in this day and age.

Yeah, It's sad to know that even back then doctors were greedy sons of a you know whats. I don't have much love for doctors,... or lawyers,... or judges,... or,...... Heeheehee!
