Oops! Looks like I accidentally skipped a day. I was actually working on the piece last night, but had a friend over so didn't finish, hehe~ So that means 2 pieces today! Thankfully, I have a piece that is almost finished lying around.

Right, so for this piece, I did something I haven't ever done before. I recently heard Neil Gaiman say that 'to copy is not a bad thing - most of us only find our own voices after we've sounded like a lot of other people!', and I sorta agree. There are many people I admire, so took a chance with the amazing style of - her watercolored pieces combine illustration with primitivism and perhaps even a bit of Escher-ism! The challenge for this piece was therefore to try and grab the essence of her amazing works, as well as to work with watercoloring-techniques in photoshop.
