Hey look, yet more crappy 3 am fanart...

Anakin and Padme, not looking like themselves very much at all.

Anyway, like a pile of other crappy 3 am doodles, this is an illustration (or eventual illustration) from my 'fic Catastrophe [link] . The setup here is that the remnants of the Separatist army are invading Naboo. Anakin is too badly injured to be out there fighting in earnest, but instead he's keeping watch and sniping any clankers that come near, because they aren't going to touch his family (which includes Luke and Leia at this point, all living out in Naboo's lake country after Anakin and Padme essentially fake their deaths to the galaxy at large).

Padme is trying to get him to come to bed because he's exhausted. But as long as there's light, he'll keep watch. Please nobody tell him about night-vision goggles.

Also no, I have no idea why Padme is wearing a sideless surcoat and cotehardie. It seemed like a good idea at the time?
