The first model I did with sponge and a latex coating over a wire armature which went inside my mouth, but for future uses I used thin craft foam instead for ease of wearing, with the wires hooked onto another piece of craft foam as the blackout lower jaw. The spikes were just pins for the smaller ones and toothpicks for the bigger two, then I airbrushed on the gradients. Hope that helps!Β

I made everything out of eva foam, it's basically a tapered tube which a pole goes through, with some balls and more tapered tubes at the end. And some toothpicks/skewers for the spines.

There were plenty of excellent cosplays before I did mine!
I actually took over a year (although actual build time was way less) to complete the costume because I kept changing and upgrading things like my stilts.

Yup! To be uh more accurate I have it inside my mouth (Ca's grow from the roof/back of her upper jaw)
I wouldn't really reccomend it though.

The eye's just a piece of soft eva (yoga mat), that I stabbed with a pen to give little bubbles and stuff. Then I stuck an eyelash on and painted it for depth and shinies. 8D
