Fox mentioned before that Monsters of sound can actually get reversed. Though it’s a very rare occurrence, the damage done is more than you can imagine. As you can see it’s different from ‘falling into silence’, falling into silence is only influenced by negativity and will soon kill the music of the soul and soon its body, the soul remains alive but the monster itself is long dead. In this instance the music of the soul TURNS negative, reversing itself from those lovable, caring and kind monsters of sound into spawns of ultimate destruction.You know whenever you reverse a song and it sounds really creepy and sometimes hold scary messages? Yes. Kind of like that.
Since the souls of these monsters are pure, they can turn from pure good into pure evil. It’s a good thing that it never really happens. The chance of this happening to them is only once or twice in a millennia, 1% out of 100%, since these monsters are well inclined to all things good. So treat it like some kind of glitch in the matrix, like it’s not really supposed to happen but it can though not on purpose.

There is a way, but it won't be easy. It might be too late when they finally undo the reversal. While they do respond very well and sensitively to music, Fox doubts that would work.

yet there are some songs that sounds good normal and backwards. just the reverse song has a different sounding melody. say a monster's song was like that would it be say like two different yet similar personalities. not absolute opposites just different.
like say normally a monster like that is say easily distracted and outgoing the reverse could be say focused and to the point. If a monster like that can control the switch of their song that could benefit them and people around them. Sure they may be called names like "two faced" but oh well.

I don't think that would be healthy for a Monster of Sound though. After all, Monsters of sounds are very caring and sweet creatures. You reverse that good and it turns bad. This is an anomaly, not something normal at all. If anything, it may very well be a virus. Most reversed songs are haunting. You can't deny that fact.
These monsters' embedded duty is to help and care for others and for those who need their help.... reverse that and what would that give you? It's not really about the personality anymore, but their intentions and values.
As stated, getting reversed is a rare phenomena, and the Monster of sound affected will ultimately become the opposite of themselves, not 'themselves' at all. It wouldn't benefit anyone, even them.... take it as someone becoming so insane that they are a danger to anyone around them. That's the closest explanation I can give you.

ok. what I was saying was say a monster was found to have a song that benefits the monster both ways to where if it reverses it does not harm the monster or risk harming others. (sorry if I am forcing an idea on you.) like say almost everything about the monster was half and half. Sure even that would be odd for a monster of sound but then there are only a few differences between the normal and reversed version of the monster. (yet again sorry for forcing something. I thought is would be interesting...)

The only beings that can carry both are humans in the world of Underbeats. So... I don't know what you're trying to imply here. If it happened to a monster, then it will defeat the point of their souls being 'pure'. That 'monster' wouldn't even qualify as one of them anymore but as something else..... you're... uhnn... trying to make me reveal things I shouldn't. Your idea is something I've thought of already and has a place somewhere, yet I can't say anything about it. Oh i most certainly hope so. As much as a boorish front Fell puts on, he has a decently sized heart.
And that's kinda the point, drama is the spine of all good stories. And those two hymn, the chemistry juste has potential of something epick.
Plus the concept of raw brute emotional energi going against something rhythmic and orderd(concept of organized chaos, witch for me fits a corupted Maestro...by all means correct me if im wrong ) is ...artistick in of it self.
