Here’s Rarity! She’s my fave one so far hehe, I think she turned out super cute!

Fun fact for non-horsey people: most ‘white’ horses you see are actually considered grey (due to having grey skin)! They are born a different colour, such as black or brown, and grey out throughout their lives until they are fully ‘white’.

so for Rarity I wanted her to be a greying out horse with dapples on her back! Cos dapple grey horses are sooo pretty, and I thought it would really suit Rarity! Apart from that I didn’t really change much about her design, except giving her some traditional curly unicorn hooves 🦄

I wanted her body type to be reminiscent of an old traditional unicorn: tall, slim and elegant. So I used Arabian horses as reference! Arabians are so elegant and fancy looking I thought they fit really well haha.
In my lineup, Rarity would be on the taller side, only overshadowed by AJ and Fluttershy.

Rarity is actually my least fave of the mane six to draw just cos her hair is SO HARD to get right, but this time I actually really liked how she turned out!!
