Geh. I'm horrible with titles for things, I think.... Perhaps it's because I'm tired. I dunno.Based on a drawing by ~zarla here - [link] . I thought this doodle of hers was adorable, and seeing as I've started playing the MGS games recently, I thought it was appropriate for me to at least attempt Snake and Otacon.
What I like - The shading, and how I managed to not completely screw up something that wasn't completely 'anime-ish' styled. Also, the folds in the fabric are likely the best I've ever done them by far. I think working on designs for Midsummer's has helped me with that.
What I don't like - Snake isn't gruff enough for my liking... and Otacon looks like my friend Josh. >.< Even though I suppose that's alright, seeing as they're clones of eachother. Also, their arms seem slightly out of place.... but I'll likely go back and fix them when it bothers me enough.

That's just lovely~ I love it how it's subtle and doesn't push the issue to your face, but still, these guys have one of the best dynamics I've ever seen between two characters
The rumpled clothing is pretty and their sleeping faces VERY adorable (and I don't think Snake looks too un-gruff here, because all people look calmer when they sleep)
It's a lovely heart-warming mindless fluff piece I'd colour myself if I didn't fail at colouring so bad ^^"
