Jaguar painting - part of a set to go with my cheetah and the orange version of Hope the tiger.
Rosettes are hard! I enjoyed working with the lighting and I'm happy with the result. Got some lovely progress shots so can do a step by step at some point

It's really lovely that the subject of this current piece of art was a jaguar-- people kind of tend not to depict these beautiful cats in illustrations like this one!

Yes I know what you mean! I actually didn't even think of painting a jaguar until someone asked me to. And I was like hell yes, why haven't I painted one before??
I totally want to do black jaguar now at some point.
