Awwww that's terrible! Why would someone do that?! Tank is the best name for a pitbull though! That's so cute!

It's not fair and it's not the pit bull's fault it's banned almost everywhere. Their dog fighter owners are monsters, breeding them to fight and kill their own kind and other breeds just for money!

Nice sturdy build on this pooch. Hey, you did a good job. When I looked at the thumbail the first thing that came to mind was Pit Bull. They're so misunderstoond.

What are you talking about? I was talking about this conversation: [link]
But as I know how good Oha is I can guarantee that she did good job in imitatung, but definitely did not trace.

Oh oops sorry you responded at the same time I posted that image up comparing Oha's. (She heavily referenced, but still..)
I'm not ALWAYS wrong though- there are instances in which I've seen people who blatantly trace and get in trouble with the original owner of the image.

Hello. Bad attitude the your. You honestly could have come to me before accusing someone. Like *FlannMoriath said, he sent a note to me and I confirm that this is a normal pose of pit bull. Besides, there are a lots other photo as these on DA or internet, and more photos with the same pose, for example: [link] , [link] and [link] . Nor why we copy each other or a photo in particular.
I hope you're prudent in next time before accusing someone like that.
Thank...

As long as the primary artist doesn't seem concerned with it / thinks it was a coincidence then it's okay.... straight off copying is a no-no. I wouldn't think of this as a generic pose, personally, but yeah.

Nope there are different types of cropping. This would type of cropping would be known as a show crop or a long crop even.

"Pit Bulls" were NEVER bred to be protective.
π: 0 β©: 1
Cat-nipp In reply to Muttkip [2010-09-26 15:49:22 +0000 UTC]
I never said they were bred to be protective. Just that some are protective. like I said "not all" every single dog could be Aggressive. Or Protective. Depends on how you raise them. Though I don`t blame bitbulls (or any dog for that mater) for being aggressive (I blame the owner) after being forced to fight and is beaten/abused. The fear fuels the aggression so its the owners fault. Not one dog is bad, a dog never turns bad. A dog just try`s to survive and when its afraid. It attacks to survive.
(btw your username is cuite, I HEAR YOU LIEK MUTTKIPS?)

Genetics play a HUGE role in a dog's aggression. APBT's don't have to be "trained" to fight, that's bullshit. They were BRED for hundreds of years to fight, I've seen APBT's not trained to fight, nail another dog with their tail wagging! They LOVE to fight. It's not always "how you raise them". Some dogs just aren't right in the head either, one of my friend's dogs was put down for attacking out of the blue, he was an UKC champion and raised the right way. He just wasn't wired right.
