the caterpillers?
they eat the leaves of the vine, which [if it gets bad enough] kills the vine. they mostly come around in winter time though (which isn't very cold here in florida), but they look like this [link]
but they turn into BEAUTIFUL butterflys... [link]
they're just so damn annoying as caterpillers.

At the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. I guess it's native to the Sonora Desert? o_O

Yep, apparently it is? o_O
And it's not really a museum museum. It's really awesome actually: they have live plants and animals. They are just native to the Sonora Desert. The exhibits are amazing, they are so natural, with hardly any bars to have to look through.

Wow, that sounds fantastic. Is it an indoor museum? And where is it? I might just have to beg my parents to take me there! ='D

^^ It is! It's in Tucson, Arizona... it's mostly an outdoor museum (so I suggest probably going during Spring or Fall, Summer is brutal. o.o)
Here's the site for it, btw: [link]

Wow, really? Forgive my lack of knowledge, but are wild cats that nocturnal? My experience is pretty much limited to house cats. =O
