*In the courtroom, Shift was looking a bit more well behaved, as he and the others calmly waited for the judge to appear*
{Court Begins }
Bailiff: All rise!
Fixer: *Stands up* (Alright, last chance. Let’s make this count.)
*Everyone in the room stands up.*
Quayla (Judge): *Slams gavel* The court is now in session.
Knuckles: Is it? I thought it was finished?
Fixer: (I know Knuckles is not supposed to be the brightest, but come on, this is ridiculous. Besides that, looks like we do have new judge. Hopefully she handles things much better. For the sake of my medical bill that is.)
Quayla: Before we begin, I'd like to address the obvious. Yes, I am now the judge on this case. No, I will not be dealing with any nonsense. We are here to determine whether the actions of the accused are guilty or not. With that said, any loud outbursts or violence will get you penalized & furthermore thrown out of the court. Understood?
Shift: *Nods calmly.*
Fixer: Understood your honour. (Finally!)
Quayla: Good. We shall now recommence the trial for Tails the Fox. Is the Defence and Prosecution ready?
Shift: Yes, your honour
Fixer: Defence is ready your honour.
Quayla: Prosecution, you may state case four.
Shift: Yes, your honour. Our next case is based on Team Sonic teasing Tails when he didn't want to take part in that robot battle contest.
Quayla: Alright. Please explain this case, specifically.
Shift: Well, Knuckles over there told Tails about this robot battle contest, to which our fox friend wasn't interested in at first. Then, Knuckles starts taunting him by calling him chicken and telling him that he might be afraid of being beaten by him. Then, Sonic, Amy and Sticks say some things that owned him. *Glares at Team Sonic.*
Quayla: I see. The Defence may begin Cross Examination.
{End Court Begins}
Fixer: Thank you your honour. (No jokes today, lets end this, once and for all.)
{Cross Examination Allegro }
Fixer: Alright, lets go. Shift. Can you tell us more about the Robot Battle Contest?
Shift: Well, this robot battle was just about people creating robots and making them fight other robots.
Fixer: Really? Any specific types of people?
Shift: People like Dave the Intern and Doctor Eggman.
Fixer: I see. So, judging by their occupations and such, this would seem like a competition for inventors and robot creators?
Shift: That is correct.
Tails: And I didn't want any part of it at first.
Fixer: Hmm, alright. Next question, do you know why Knuckles wanted to join the robot battle competition in the first place?
Shift: I'm afraid I don't know anything about that. Ask my client in the stand.
Fixer: (Do I really need to? I might have a theory already.) Could it be because he wanted to prove to Tails that he can invent? Even though he might be new to this new kind of occupation?
Shift: Perhaps so.
Tails: And I know Knuckles couldn't build anything.
Fixer: For starters, I think that's just being a little selfish at first. I think it would have been better to at least give Knuckles a shot, rather than assume he can't invent. His inventions might not be as good as Tails' but according to the papers *Checks papers* Tails has had many years’ experience. Of course, Knuckles would not have as much skills as Tails, however that does not mean Tails should be so quick to judge.
Shift: *Glances to the camera and shrugs.*
Fixer: However, I would like to know more about Sonic, Amy and Sticks. What where they doing before Knuckles' arrival?
{End Cross Examination Allegro}
*Awkward silence in the courtroom*
Fixer: What? It’s a question.
Knuckles: A question that shall remain unanswered.
Quayla: I believe it's a reasonable question. The three in question should have an answer.
Shift: I'm afraid I have no answer, your honour.
Tails: Neither do I.
Sticks: Tails, you should know!
Fixer: (What!?)
{Suspense }
Sonic: Ye, yeah. You were talking about how to convince Knuckles he wasn’t an inventor
.
Amy: You told us, remember?
Erik: Aw snap!
Knuckles: So Tails is a chicken! Ha-ha!
*Tails begins to get angry, as the negative energy started to return.*
Tails: I'm not *Eyes change from blue to dark red* a chicken...
Erik: Shut up, Knuckles! The last thing we want is for Tails....Too late....
*Tails' fur changes into pitch black again and his purple aura retuned.*
Quayla: Mr. Prower, it'd be best if you controlled your temper.
*Dark Tails turns to Quayla and glares darkly at her, before punching Knuckles right in the stomach really hard, causing him to gasp in pain.*
Quayla: *Slams gavel* Mr. Prower! That's penalty one! Control your temper immediately! If you want to win this case, you need to act appropriately!
*Dark Tails turned to face Quayla and held out his hand and began powering up a dark purple energy ball in it.*
Dark Tails: Don't...tempt....me.
Fixer: (Did, did Tails just threaten the judge!?)
Bailiff: Sit down!
*Dark Tails also aims his second powered hand at the bailiff.*
Dark Tails: I'm warning you both.
Quayla: As a matter of fact, I change my mind. Bailiff, escort him out of the courtroom.
Bailiff: *Grabs Tails.* Hey, I'm not here to make you upset. But the judge has asked me to escort you out of the courtroom. Please don't make this complicated.
Dark Tails: Fine!
*The Bailiff and Tails leave the courtroom.*
{End Suspense}
Fixer: (We better move on before Tails gets anymore ideas.) Does the prosecution have anything to say about my claim, or shall we move to the final case?
*A blue fox approaches Fixer with a large bandage in hand.*
*Shift is seen shuffling through some money notes.*
Shift: How much is it to pay for your medical bill, Fixer?
*Fixer is seen getting a bandage over his eye by a blue fox.*
Fixer: I think Nurse *Fixer sees the fox’s name tag.* Alkira will let you know after this is over. (No thanks to you from the other day, Tails.)
Shift: Ok. I just hope it ain't too expensive. I didn't even know Tails could be that violent.
Fixer: (Oh, really? I never noticed.)
Shift: By the way, how's Knuckles holding up?
Fixer: He is in a stable conduction, being in large stature, the punch was not critical to him. Knuckles is just a bit shaken right now.
Shift: *Nods and stands up* Your honour, may we continue with this case?
Quayla: Proceed.
Shift: *Nods.* Ok. So, what's our next case?
Quayla: If everyone is ready, you may state case five.
Fixer: Lets go. I'm ready. (This is it, the final piece of evidence I need to crush. Do this, and I win for sure.)
{Cross Examination Allegro }
Shift: Very well. Our fifth and final case is the topic of Tails getting rejected from being temporary leadership of Team Sonic, when Sonic and Eggman were stuck in the Buddy Buddy Temple.
Quayla. Mmhmm. Please explain this event to the court in detail.
Shift: Yes, your honour. *Shuffles papers.* When Sonic and Eggman were trapped in the Buddy Buddy Temple, Amy and Knuckles argued over who should be temporary leader of Team Sonic. Tails then asked if he could be in charge, but they and Sticks said "No" to him.
Quayla: Hmm. The Defence may begin Cross Examination.
Shift: If I may, your honour, I'd like to ask for my friend, Erik, to be a part of this case.
Fixer: (Wait, I thought Erik was already part of the case.)
Quayla: Permission granted.
Erik: Thanks Shift.
Shift: No worries, buddy.
Erik: Wait. Where's Sienna?
Shift: Oh, she went back to the village, after her childish behaviour earlier.
Fixer: (That’s sweet relief if ever I heard it.)
Shift: Anyways, we're ready to cross exam, your honour.
Fixer: Alright. Let’s go.
*It was silent for a bit as Fixer thought.*
{End Cross Examination Allegro}
Fixer: (I just, it’s, too simple.) Umm... Hmm... So, here is the thing, how come denying the roll of leader was such a bad thing?
Erik: We believe it to be a poor way of denying a person offering to be a temporary leader.
Shift: Plus, we believe them to be selfish
Fixer: Just thinking out loud here, but isn't that kinda how voting for a leader works?
Shift and Erik: Nope.
{Objection }
Fixer: Try me. A leader is usually given the position due to vote, or dominance. Tails has always known to be a sidekick, so putting sidekick, straight to leader, is one thing. The other, is that Tails put his hand out to be leader, yet they did not vote for him to be. As such, its quite a common way to put things. They just did not want Tails to be leader. However, something else worth mentioning, is that Amy and Knuckles also wanted to be leader, correct?
Shift: Yes, but they should've at least given Tails a chance!
Erik: Yeah!
Fixer: And now I'm explaining why they didn't. As I said, Amy and Knuckles also wanted to be leader, right?
Shift: Once again, yes.
Fixer: As such, we already have half the group split. Two leaders, two voters. Sticks exclaims that she does not trust leaders, so I don't think she would want to vote. This leaves two leaders, one voter. With Tails deemed the deciding vote, him wanting to be in charge, would leave three leaders, no voters. Then who is in charge? Nobody, because there is nobody left to vote. As such, by Knuckles and Amy telling Tails not to be leader, it was not because they were mean. Rather, they needed him to be a voter, so there could be a leader.
*Shift grits his teeth as a small bit of electricity starts surging through his quills.*
Shift: He doesn't need to judge who should be leader.
Erik: They were selfish! Even Orbot and Cubot were too!
{End Objection}
Fixer: *Slams hands* Hey! You never mentioned anything about those two in your testimony!
{ Pursuit }
Fixer: How could you miss such a detail!? (I’ve really got them now!)
Erik: He's got a point.
Shift: Who....cares? *Electricity beginning to get brighter*
Erik: Shift, calm....down.
Quayla: Yes, calm down, Mr. Hedgehog. Remember that you are here to win a case.
*Shift stares at Erik, then at Quayla, before sighing and powering down.*
Fixer: Alright then, with Orbot and Cubot now in the mix, can you please update your testimony Shift.
Shift: Well, since Orbot and Cubot at first believed that they were free from Eggman, they soon returned because they couldn't handle freedom very well. And when Tails once again asked if he could be in charge, Sticks, Amy, Knuckles, Orbot and Cubot all said ‘NO.’ *Slams fists down and points at Amy and Sticks* How selfish can you guys be?!
Fixer: Objection! Why would Tails need to ask about being leader again, if he received his answer already?
Shift: Because he can't just sit there and take it!
Fixer: I hate to break it to you, but regarding the circumstances, Knuckles and Amy beat Tails for being elected leader. Had Tails beat Knuckles, or Amy, and was one of the first two, then Tails would have some solid ground to stand on. Not to mention, that Amy and Knuckles both would refuse to vote, because they naturally want to be the leader. Knuckles because he is strong, showing dominance, while Amy is more mature and like a mother, also good traits for a leader. I'm pretty sure, neither would want Tails to be leader, because he does not show those kind of leadership qualities.
Shift: Yeah? Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Tails came back into this courtroom, right now!
Fixer: I would be. He takes one step in here without the judge's permission, I win this trial.
*Shift sighs and gently places his head on the table and groans.*
Shift: I hate this trial.
Erik: Same here.
Fixer: (Well, well, well, look at that. I think I’ve actually did it! Shift and Erik have just seemed to have given up. I need to finish this, but not to them.)
{End Pursuit}
Fixer: (There is someone else who needs to hear this.) Umm, excuse me, Quayla.
Shift: *Sighs and looks back up.*
Quayla: Yes, Mr. Fox?
Fixer: With your permission, if Mr Prower has calmed down, I wish to call him to the witness stand.
Quayla: Well...If you're sure about it, I suppose it would be fine. Baliff?
Shift: Here we go again...
Alley: Mmhmm *Goes to get Tails.*
Shift: Erik, how do you think this will turn out now?
Erik: Well, there's a 60% chance Tails will be calmed down. But there's a 62% chance he might turn dark.
Alley: *Opens door* You have been called to the stand, Mr. Prower.
Shift: Well, here he comes.
*Tails approaches the stand.*
{Reminiscing }
Fixer: Tails. I hope you have calmed down, because I'm going to say a few things, and I want you to listen, without getting upset. You have to control yourself, just for a little longer.
Tails: *Sighs.* Ok bro.
Shift: I can sense doubt in his voice.
Erik: Really? How can you tell?
Shift: From the looks of it, I can see that Tails might not have the will power to stay under control for very long.
Erik: If we lose this, I won't be able to call Fixer my big bro anymore. *Slowly sinks into his seat.*
Shift: If we lose this, I think I'll end up short circuiting the lights in this room and make it go dark.
Erik: If we lose this, I'll either stay at your place, or with Tails....Maybe....
Shift: I'm already getting a headache from this. *Yawns.* I think I'm going to shut my eyes for a little bit and get some rest. *Closes eyes and puts head on the desk.*
Fixer: (Here we go again. Looks like he really doesn’t care.) You both done over there?
Erik: Can we have Sticks wake him up again, or should I?
Sonic: I think he's just tired. It has been a very long case after all
Fixer: Alright then, lets continue.
Erik: *Sighs.* Okay.
Fixer: Tails. As you have witnessed in this courtroom, your way of thinking towards your friends may have been differed because of new perspective, and new light. Do you understand that?
Tails: Indeed
*Shift then wakes up again.*
Fixer: So, can you now understand that perhaps the feelings of hate, or judgement you felt, was not intentional.
{End Reminiscing}
*A silence is heard. No one says a word.*
Shift: Awkward silence...
*The silence continues, though Tails does glare at Fixer*
Fixer: (That’s. It!)
{Pursuit Variation }
Fixer: *Slams hands.* Answer me Tails. Do you now see that you were wrong?
Tails: No...
Shift: Oh boy...
Fixer: (Why!?) Then what is clouding your judgement still!? Why do you still hate your friends, when they show nothing but love, and support to you?
Tails: Because you don't know what it's like to be treated terribly in your childhood. But I have...
Shift: Did Tails just say what I thought he said?
Erik: What? Oh yeah....
Fixer: Then tell me Tails. *Slams hands.* Where would you be now, if it was not for Sonic and his friends?
Tails: I'd be living in the jungle on my own without a place to live, that’s what!!
Shift: Oh boy. This is it. We're doomed. Erik.
Erik: *Gulps.*
Fixer: Sure Tails, let’s give you that. But you'd be alone. Alone through your life! No adventure, no friends, just you and your machines. May I remind you that without Sonic, you would have never gained the confidence you have, you would have lived a boring life, and dare I say it, you would have never met Zooey ether. If being with Sonic caused so much trouble, why didn't you leave. Why did you stick around?
Tails: Because I never had the strength nor motivation to do so! If I called them something bad, I'd probably receive a beating from them!
Knuckles: *Coughs.* That can be arranged. *Cracks knuckles.*
Erik: Knuckles! Do you want him to turn dark?!
Fixer: No Tails. Because it’s not who you are.
Tails: What do you mean?
Shift: Yeah, what do you mean? And where's my sandwich?
Erik: Nowhere.... *eats last bit of a sandwich.*
Fixer: Being your brother, I know that you are a kind, sensitive fox, who wants nothing more than to build machines and to have fun. Fun with your friends. Friendships, relationships, family, none are perfect. You will always have problems, and some can hurt, while others are more understandable. The reason you stayed around, is because you value your friends, more than you realize. You cherish the memories you've had with them, and you want to have more fun with them.
*Tails listens very carefully, taking in each word. Pretty soon, his anger was fading away.*
Shift: Where's Zooey when you need her?
Erik: Yeah.
Fixer: Tails. You need to remember that, even though they can be mean, or harsh, it's because they love you. They want the best for you. They don't want you making mistakes, so by putting them out, you can understand, and change for the better.
Sonic: Yeah! Remember when everybody in the village was angry at me for calling them 'just guys'? Sure, I was angry, but I forgave and forgot.
Amy: How about when you all thought that Fuzzy Puppy Buddies was a childish game? I forgave you all.
Sticks: And I make sure to apologize if ever I'm wrong. I did say your machine has a good use after it killed all those evil plants, didn't I?
Knuckles: And I still think you are an excellent inventor.
{End Pursuit Variation}
Zooey: And I think you're still my hero Tails.
*Zooey said walking in.*
{Maya Fey }
Zooey: You work so hard, and you are so courageous, I think you're the kindest, and sweetest fox I ever met.
Shift: Where did she come from?!
Erik: Zooey?! Where did she come from?!
Fixer: (Great, that’s another girl coming in. What is this?)
*Tails' anger has completely gone and disappeared into nothingness. Instead, his facial expression changes into a sad and regrettable one, with tears beginning to form in his eyes.*
Fixer: Now do you understand Tails?
Tails: *Sniffles and tears start running.* Permission to hug Zooey, your honour?
Quayla: *Smiles.* Permission granted.
*Tails then jumps from the stand, runs up to Zooey and hugs her tightly and lovingly, while beginning to cry his eyes out.*
Tails: Oh, by the ancients! What have I become?! *Cries his eyes out, as Zooey starts smoothing his back gently.*
Fixer: Shall we pass the verdict now your honour?
Quayla: I shall now hand down my verdict. The court finds the accused, Team Sonic…
NOT GUILTY!!
*Gavel slam.*
Fixer: (And that’s how the case of the dark turnabout ended. I moreso found this an easier case then I was originally expecting, but what can’t be helped when truth is on your side. I discovered, and convinced Tails, Shift, and everyone else with doubts that, people are not perfect, but that does not mean you must hate them for it. Tails had clouded judgement to go dark in the first place, as everyone else has suffered in more ways than one. Whether it be Shift’s wallet for paying for my injuries, or myself and all the battle scars I received in the search for the truth. Speaking of which, my first order of business is to put harsher penalties on acts of violence in the courtroom.)
Fixer: (Hopefully things can finally settle after this, and Tails remembers not to hate his friends for trying to make him a better person, and for Team Sonic to lay off Tails while he recovers. As for me, well, I’ll be recovering at home. Those injuries are going to stay for a while, but at least I get a check-up every now and then from Sticks and that nurse at the courtroom today. While problems in the courtroom are far from over, I believe I can say that this is one case, I can close.)

What about the bet to capture Sonic? Tails won, but he was still forced to sing.

Haha, good points! I'm surprised Grim did not raise them in court. 
1: The bet itself, is correct, Tails did win and yet he did have to sing. However one of the things we have to remember is that Tails did leave all his friends stuck in the traps that were meant for Sonic, so while Tails did have to sing, instead of thinking it's Sonic getting out of it, it's Tails' way of making it up to Amy, Knuckles and Sticks. But, this can be taken both ways, but personally, I think it's all fair game here.
2: In that episode, Tails was lucky to even get a trophy in the first place to be completely honest. I mean, he did build a dome to keep out Eggman, but Team Sonic defeats Eggman day in, day out, and they don't receive an award until there 1 000 000th victory (And we know how that turned out.) Something else to point out here, is that it was the villagers of Hedgehog Village, and not Team Sonic that gave Tails the trophy. And to be honest, the villagers, apart from a select few, are butts to Team Sonic anyway, so Tails can't blame his one on his team.

You may (and I do mean may) have made decent responses; but while waiting for the reply, I've come up with a list of complaints for the story as a whole:
1. Why is Tails as violent as he is in this story? The reason he turned dark in D.T.U. in the first place was because of what he saw as mistreatment against him by his friends and the villagers. Here, at any time, he'll turn dark and attempt to brutally kill anyone who even thinks that he could be wrong.
2. The fact Tails becomes that violent seems to be, in my opinion, a way to 'prove' Fixer's points against Shift, Erik, and Tails.
3. Speaking of Shift, why does he get distracted so easily? He has been caught making out with Sienna instead of focusing on the trial. Tails would've had a better chance to win if Winston Payne was his lawyer!
4. The fact that Shift, Sienna, Tails, and Team Sonic are all played by Grim. This sounds like self-sabotage from my point of view. Why would one of his characters try to ruin another one of his character's chance of putting some of his other characters behind bars?
5. Why didn't Zooey show up until after Tails's anger began to fade? Even when Dark Tails was "unleashed", he was still unwilling to hurt Zooey. Couldn't she have calmed him down at any point in the trial? After all,
Shift: Where's Zooey when you need her?6. And oh, I don't know who even played Zooey. If it was Grim or Erik, I see it as further evidence of self-sabotage because she manages to calm Tails down, as I mentioned in #5. If it was you, I see it as further evidence of Dark Tails's violence being used to 'prove' Fixer's points. I say this because Zooey calls Tails "the kindest, and sweetest fox [she] ever met," implying she thinks Tails is better than Dark Tails, especially this version of him. If it was qcherry, I've got nothing to say in response right now.
7. I could have sworn that after Zooey purified Tails, he no longer held ill will towards his friends, nor could he turn dark anymore. This story is implied to take place not long after D.T.U., so how is this possible?
8. What are the morals of this story? "[P]eople are not perfect, but that does not mean you must hate them for it." And, "[E]ven though [people] can be mean, or harsh, it's because they love you." That's what I think they are, anyway. But, how far can this go? I think it could go to the point where Sonic convincing Zooey to pretend to break up with Tails just to see how Tails would react to a breakup could be justified... oops, I probably shouldn't have gone there.
Overall, I see a story with more holes in it than Frank Sahwit's testimonies. But, you can correct me if I'm wrong.

1: I didn't write Tails in this story, so this would be better answered by . All I did was copy and paste what he said in the rp.
2: While this is sort of true, once again, it's not my fault. If wrote Tails in a way that makes it easy for Fixer to state his case, and win, it's more on his side for writing out Tails in such a way. I must also point out that before Tails was released from the MX-4180 Electroplasmatic Capsulator by Knuckles, I said the following (Which was out of the rp btw):

So I did tell them that if they continued to use Dark Tails against me, it works against them, however as you can see, they did it because, in their opinion, Dark Tails drama is better then Courtroom Drama.

4: Ask as I did not write Shift, Sienna, Tails or Team Sonic. If he wrote his characters in a way that made it easy for Fixer to win, then that's not my fault.
5: Good point, and it sort of was planned for Zooey to come in after Tails turned Dark the first time, it was not long beforehand that Shift needed to be calmed down by Sienna, and I figured it was too soon into the trial to pull the 'Zooey Card.' I mean, it was case 1/5 at the time. But, if you see Point 2, you can see that Shift prefer the Dark Tails drama, so he continued to use it.
6: I introduced Zooey at the end, but not in the way that you interpreted it. It was mostly because the trial was ending, and Zooey had yet to be used, so by making Zooey enter the courtroom at that time was mainly the last screw on the case, people like Tailooey, and going on from DTU, Zooey would help Tails out in any way.
7: This story is not canon to DTU, so the whole skit at the start and end was made up by myself, to give the whole court case some kind of ground to it. However, it is up to the readers to determine if they want it canon to DTU or not, and tbh, I don't mind regardless.
8: The morals are also debatable depending on the viewers, as the main focus on this was to debate if the evidence used in DTU to make Tails dark, would hold water with the Sonic Boom TV Show. So if anyone found any morals to learn from, then it was most likely not intentional, as the story had another focus.

Loved the ending showing that violence is not always the answer and some changes in court has been mentioned in the story... Also liked the part where you describe the methodical speeches all to affect the outcome and it was a intense one as well....

Well, yes and no. Maniac is the name of a character in my Legends series called Maniac the Hedgehog, but since the character herself does not act like the typical 'maniac' I like to pronounce her name like 'man-ick' in a sense. However I don't own Maniac the Hedgehog, so it's not really my place to say much about her.
