I'm not sure why this picture happened. I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
At any rate, we'll pretend that they're having a parade for the new season (the Kanji on the banner says "new")! I know I would throw a parade if it weren't for Cas' imminent jerkiness.
But I'll be glad to have them back no matter what!

Heh he...no, actually. But for some reason I couldn't NOT put them in those clothes.

I could tell that the outfits were inspired from either Haku or Chihiro. Spirited Away's actually one of my favorites from Ghibli; tying in second place with Totoro, and first being another tie between Graveyard of the Fireflies and Ponyo.

Hahah, yeah. Cas has Haku's and Sam has Chihiro's. Dean's is the only one I made up. (color-wise). Oh, cool! I do love that movie. My first favorites are Porco Rosso and Kiki's Delivery Service, followed by Whisper of the Heart and Howl's Moving Castle. But let's face it--all of Ghibli's movies are fantastic!

Knew it! No wonder the outfits Cas and Sam were wearing looked familiar. I had a mini freakout that this could have been another Ghibli-Supernatural crossover.
It's a shame that I haven't seen Porco Rosso, Howl's, and Whisper. I try to find the movie at video rentals and the library, and I have no patience with the lagging video streams online. Gaaah, and I also haven't seen Nausicaa.

I know! Though I think the writers definitely have their ears to the ground where the popularity of characters is concerned. And yes, I hope it goes on forever!
