For Storm, the shock of Merrill's kidnapping had long since dwindled to a dull chill. However, something else now dogged her steps. Any movement in the undergrowth became an approaching nightmare. Every broken twig, every robin cry, every breeze was a siren. Deep shadows, just slightly too dark for comfort, an omen.

The whitewater before her was blinding, and the spray stung her paws like hornets. Aaron's Gorge was ordinarily one of her favorite haunts, but looking at it now, she just felt sick.

Storm's March MSE! I'd intended to reuse her app art for something and this was the perfect opportunity OuO Storm's paranoia increases. If you would like for your Arynian to meet Storm during this time, lemme know, I'd love to get some relevant long-term relationships going for her! She will probably be really jumpy and distracted in any interactions, and that would definitely be fun to explore!

He watched as vows were exchanged and then as his mother came forward and lifted her voice to the heavens in a howl of rejoicing. Cricket lifted his muzzle to follow suit like the others, but his voice faded sooner than the rest. He hoped the pack would be too caught up in their own pleasure to notice.

Today was a day of love and celebration of life, meant to give all Aryn the strength to carry on. And Raphael was meant to be a steward of that gesture. To make this day a day truly worth remembering for his Brother and Kane’s bride.

And by the One, he was trying.

But Cricket felt black inside, knowing that it was all for naught. No matter their belief in one another, Aryn would not find Merrill because they had been deceived. By Adrian, and now him, as well. In keeping silent, he was lying to all of them… a crime incalculable.

And yet, if it was the only way to ensure Merrill survive Through Heaven's Eyes (P3)

Soon other wolves joined in on her mischief. Kane with his wife, Riga tempting Nero out and even Tzuri and Shoshana began heading to the middle of what Amara claimed for the dance floor. Whom surprised her however was the slim shape of Storm and Mother Teia appearing to the festivities. Amara bounded forward to the white she wolf and nudged her playfully.

“Mother! Join us in dancing in honor of the bride and groom! Come come I will show you how to follow the dance!” Amara barked happily, tail wagging like a banner as more wolves joined in the Merry making.

Amara began moving her body, sliding left and right, paws crossing each other as she moved in circles smoothly and twirling, eyes alive and bright with happiness.

The heavy-built female came to a halt at the side of the doe just as Raphael’s words brought attention to another speech. The slim Vicar We all have battle scarsAmara
Like a thin shadow, Amara hobbled into the den site with a winter rabbit in her maw. Her limp was less pronounced and her injury to her back was healing well. Placing the rabbit down near the den entrance, she hobbled up the stones above and laid down in the fading sunlight, letting the heat soak into her winter fur.
Closing green eyes, Amara listened to the world. Pack wolves came in and out of the clearing around the den, lady Athena and Shoshana rested in the den with their litters. The noises brought a sense of peace to the she wolf and she began humming, eyes still closed before the lullaby came from her mouth.
“Moonbeams and starlight,
Magical twilight,
The warmest rain…
Hear it whispering your name.”
Amara smiled, eyes still closed and her head bobbing to the tune in her head.
“Rainbows at midnight,i
Sparkling night skies,
Don't go away,
Stay another day.”
The song faded and Amara sighed happily, letting the lyrics echo softly in
