Description
From the Tentaka territory page:
- - - The Great Lake - - -
Insp. 1 | Insp. 2
A deep, massive body of water guards the entrance at the northern tip of the valley, formed by centuries of river flow, glacial runoff and meltwater. It is surrounded by a dense forest of golden birch trees and dark evergreens, and its shoreline is sandy and scattered with pebbles.
It is believed that a skeletal ghost whale - stranded after a terrible squall - haunts the lake, appearing only during stormy nights. As a result, only the most fearless Tentaka (usually seen as foolish) dare to approach the lake under those circumstances.

雨の門 - Ame no Kado, Rain Gate | Theme: Mountains | Insp. 1 Insp. 2
- The Ame no Kado, or Rain Gate, is one of the oldest known landmarks in Tentaka. Though here the Tentaka River exits the valley, cascading down the cliff and flowing into the Great Lake. Consisting of several massive natural archways carved into a cliff wall by centuries of water erosion, the Rain Gate is the easiest way in and out of Tentaka, travesable in the form of narrow, slippery stone pathways that wind through the openings. The Rain Gate forms the primary entrance to Tentaka, as the surrounding mountain ranges are nigh impassable to even the experienced mountaineer.

IT'S FINALLY DONE
I NEVER WANNA DRAW WATER AGAIN
A small party of Tentaka wolves, including Akuto, Yuuzai, Reahla, and Hylia, patrols the shores of the Great Lake to watch for intruders and ensure nothing is out of the ordinary. It's a pretty standard procedure, but always an adventure nonetheless. Plus, any Tentaka worth their legacy will never turn down a chance to go swimming!
Seen here is actually just a small fragment of the lake, the entire thing is huuuuge xD With the length of the valley, too, venturing out there from the main den can take nearly a whole day's travel or more! For long cross-territory journeys like that, Tentaka have a few known caves or natural shelters they can rest in along the way.
