Hunting in the Tentaka Valley is a different beast from the average region; rather than elk, caribou, or deer, Tentaka catch birds, reptiles, and rodents.
For Akuto, it presents an interesting challenge, one she relishes - instead of the chase, the core of an Itachi's hunt lies in quick wits and swift, precise motion, a skillset that's right up Akuto's alley. Fish, however, remain the toughest game - her two primary senses, hearing and scent, don't provide much help when the target is concealed beneath a obfuscating layer of running water. And unfortunately, fish happen to be a core part of Tentaka's diet, due to their overwhelming prevalence. Though her skills as a loner and brief, distant experience as Valerian Huntsman give her a boost with the other prey, learning how to fish with e(fish)iency is going to take some more practice...
Having unoffically taken on the role of Itachi, as the resurrected pack finds its legs Akuto must hunt even more than usual, an already demanding task when one deer equals roughly 20 turtles. She enjoys the effort though, as to her, it provides a consistently unique puzzle. Plus the misty terrain makes for a surprisingly pleasant soundscape, with any particularly grating noises muffled by all the water vapor. Though she wouldn't have thought much of it before, Akuto finds something distinctly peaceful about the territory, and the concept of truly living in harmony with nature - considering certain beasts and the land sacred - is one she finds fulfillment and solace in. Her only real regret is how little time it can leave her to spend time with her packmates: she's slowly but surely adjusting to pack life, and getting more comfortable with her role as an alpha. As those two factors increase, so does her desire to be with her newfound family - her home.
