Thsi is Juri from Revolutionary Girl Utena. I did this back in 2001 using ink and Prismacolor markers and pencils. It has a slight Art Nouveau feel, especially with the boarder.Related content

The ringlets alone merit some kudos, since those can be damn near impossible to draw well.
I like how Juri seems to be standing, waiting in a space that's virtually empty save for that little embellishment that looks vaguely like a lamp post or one half of a door frame. More fascinating still is that her locket seems to be binding her hands, albeit loosely. I'm not sure if that was deliberate or not, but the symbolism is striking at any rate.

This is one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen of Juri - and it's just her backside. But it is wonderful, I like the feeling of the picture, the angle of it and I *love* the way you've done her hair, it looks beautiful. The only thing that I can think of to critique is the size of her locket, but that's not very much.
This is a gorgeous picture, I just have to fave it
